We used them to cater my a wedding. Not impressed at all. The service the day of the event was horrible. The chicken was OK, mac and cheese was good. The rice with vegetables and the mashed potatoes, were awful. The sweet tea and lemonade, were ok, could have been better. Based on the money I know that was spent on them, I would not recommend them for special events.

Don't waste your time. People in my party had under cooked food that was sent back just to have the cook and who I also assume to be the owner yelling out the window of their kitchen " They asked for medium rare and that's what this is but whatever ill remake it". The owner is horrible never in my life have I felt less welcome in a restaurant. Our server however was amazing. This young man was ran around like a chicken with his head cut off and serving all tables by himself. The olny help he had serving tables was from the owners daughter who could not have been more the 12 or 13.

The cook is very rude when raw hamburgers were sent back because blood was coming from the patty. The server was trying his very best to accommodate us and the cook kept yelling his name to come get food to run to other tables while he was taking our order. Oh by the way BBQ sauce does not go on Fried Green tomatoes!

We had our wedding rehearsal dinner on a Friday evening in September 2024 and cannot thank Leah enough for a great job. She is very easy to work with in choosing a menu and accommodating food preferences and allergies. The entire restaurant was ours and food was delicious. Family style dining made the atmosphere casual and comfortable, which is just what we wanted. Overall a perfect experience and we highly recommend her place!

We booked the rehearsal luncheon for my son's wedding. I live in Savannah, GA and planning by email and phone calls was very stressful for me. Leah made things so easy. She allowed us to change the menu to suit what we wanted. Leah was so helpful in answering my questions. Our server was Frania (Agent F). I cannot say enough positive things about her. Everything I needed while setting up, she was right there to provide. Anything our guests needed, she was right there. She always had a smile on her face. If we ever have the need to host an event in Dahlonega, I will use Yahoola Creek Grill again!!!!!
We had an early dinner there, so there was no wait. We sat on their enclosed deck, which was nice. Service was excellent, and so was the food. We had the shrimp burger - beef burger with shrimp and aoli sauce with fries. Delicious! We had the garlic bread appetizer - amazingly creative and delicious. Also the chicken and waffles is the best I've ever had. I never would have thought that it would be good with spinach, but what a perfect combination. We will be back next time we are up that way. Next time I will try their burger with fried green tomatoes. 😋

We so wanted to like this place. We came for my husband's birthday dinner. We were told a 20 minute wait for four people. That's fine. They weren't busy and the blonde up front seemed to be bothered were even there. We gave our info and waited...and waited. 45 mins later we went in after watching several other groups go in and be seated immediately. We asked how much longer and was told "they didn't know" . At this point the kids were starving and we left.

Had the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer and they did not disappoint! I had the four mac n cheese with chicken tenders. It was absolutely amazing, was also a very large portion. The wife had fish tacos and she said they was amazing also. The owners are actually the cooks and their young daughter also waits tables.with that said you know the food is done exactly how the want it done! That young lady does better than most adults! She’s only there on Saturdays. If you’re close by be sure to stop and support this locally owned and operated restaurant.

Everything about this place is great to me. The music, the porch seating, the tables aren't crammed together, servers are nice and the food is amazing. Also the menu is navigable and doesn't have way too much on it. I love it here.
