The kind of down home, simple but good, country diner that just feels like childhood. The parking lot was full on a Friday mid-morning, so you knew it was a local favorite. The sweet waitresses seem to know their regulars by name and ooze southern hospitality. The food was just as you would expect and want it to be. Simple southern cooking with no fuss or pretentiousness. We will definitely be back.
This place never disappoints we go for breakfast mostly. I usually get country ham, toast, 2 eggs over med,hash browns and tomato slices. Which is my favorite. But the biscuits are perfection. And so are the pancakes. I've got bacon before and tenderloin. All those meats are big portions and cooked the way I expected. The waitresses are always friendly and good at what they do!!
If you like an old diner feel with a new very clean location, this is worth the little extra drive. Friendly young waitresses very basic menu. If you do not see what you want they work hard to give you what you want. Prices are reasonable. It is so good this is where the local Police eat. Go there and enjoy a cup of coffee and an omelette. They have daily specials that change all the time.
