Johnny's New York Style Pizza

I recently visited this location with my son, and while the presentation of the food was appealing, the taste didn’t quite meet my expectations for New York-style pizza. Being from NYC, I was hoping for a more authentic flavor that matched the look.

That said, the gentleman who assisted us provided excellent customer service he was respectful, attentive, and made our visit pleasant from a hospitality standpoint.

This was my third time dining at a Johnny’s, though my first visit to this particular location. I recall the other two experiences being more enjoyable in terms of flavor, although it has been a while, so I may be remembering them more fondly.

Unfortunately, this time the meal fell short for me, and I didn’t end up finishing my food. Still, I understand that every restaurant can have an off day, and I’m not ruling them out just yet. I may give this location another try in hopes that it was simply a one time miss.

My last few experiences have been horrible
I ordered online waited over 2 hours only to be told they have a new rule for their delivery policy
The service they use is door dash on their web site
The washer can only pick up 1 order
So I was texted by the driver and told my order can't be delivered
So I called to store only to be told I have to go online and cancel my order except you can't cancel it online so I called back same girl answered and said if I want my pizza to call door dash to send another driver or I can come get my now 2 hour old pizza or if I wanted a new one I would have to wait 40 more minutes then I was hung up on
Needless to say I will be finding another pizza place
Bad service .....

Staff was rude. Tried to pick up a door dash order and was giving another from there while I was there and the staff told me to deliver 1 then I could have the other. Maybe the young boy owned the pizza place which I doubt but I I know he doesn't own door dash. I was giving the wrong food for the only address I was giving. The boy should be fired.

This place has awesome lunch specials good, fast, fresh food and customer service.

Chicken Parm for lunch and it was great. Service was super friendly.

I got the philly pizza, it came with red sauce. On uber it does not give you the option to change sauce or say what sauce is used. I wrongly assumed they would use a white sauce like all the other pizza places. The pizza is good but I do not like red sauce so I'll go to Marcos instead.

Perfect score Johnny’s Dallas. It’s been since before the Covid lockdowns that we sat in there for a meal. Went in today. 2 slice/salad lunch specials and cheese sticks. Food was dank. Service was on point (been a couple years since anywhere made me say that ). ?

This one is near multiple baseball parks and consistently refuses service when you walk in before 9pm. The chairs are always stacked by 8pm every night. Multiple times we have pulled in and parked and when they saw the vehicle ran to the door and locked it. even more times, if the door isnt locked, they refuse service. I would tell everyone in the New Hope area not only will we never support them with our baseball teams (and we are letting the surrounding parks know as well) we will make sure to go the Hiram location who is also open later until 10pm! The Hiram location has never refused service and we have walked in at 9:45pm due to a late baseball game! BTW the manager simply does not care the employees are refusing service to people nor do they care that if you are lucky to get seated, they will sweep the floors and clean as you are eating. Do yourself a favor and just skip this location all together and go the Hiram one. Maybe if enough boycott this location, something better will open up there!

ETA: I appreciate the response. However, i would need to add the manager was called and she said "The employees have family and kids too and they will continue to put the chairs up at 8pm and sweep the floors and clean while patrons eat as they want to be out of there by 9pm." So I am happy to email the owner but I think I will get the exact same response as we have every time we have come there.

First time trying Johnnys pizza and I ordered the Build Your Own Pizza large Pie . We thought it was kinda dry .. I originally wanted to add sausage , extra cheese and sauce but I found it profane to pay $30 total for a lg pie with the extras . Each extra item was $2.99 . The delivery was on time !
