This is the best Mexican restaurant in the NW Metro and I've been to them all! The food is slightly more expensive but is 100% worth it. It made such an impression, I'm still in the restaurant writing this review. The owner is gragarious, the drinks are on point and the food is delicious! Come here!!

I enjoyed the Texas fajitas here. The flour tortillas were fresh and taste like they’re made in house. My plate was sizzling hot. The chicken, shrimp, and steak were good as well. I removed a star because a bit of my steak tasted like it had been sitting out too long before it was cooked or stored, PERO most of my food was good. The drinks used authentic Mexican tequila. Super smooth and strong. I could taste the agave. Bueno. Bueno. 4.5/5

Food is fantastic. Service is great. The karaoke is overwhelming and takes away from the other good stuff.

This place is so disappointing, I ordered enchiladas and bria tacos and both time they didn't put cheese 😒 I called them just to ask why and the lady was very rude and dismissive, she was like did you ask for cheese, when did I have to ask for cheese for enchiladas and bria tacos that how they are made WITH CHEESE so sad I will never give them my business every again and I suggest everyone don't go there 😢

I drove 60 miles to eat here and do Karaoke on a Saturday night with Dana DjDice Daniels. It was definitely worth the trip. Oscar my waiter was extremely attentive, served the food and drinks with accuracy and speed. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was fun and lively with a family oriented karaoke night. Dana DjDice Daniels always puts on a fun and enjoyable evening and show. I'm definitely heading back very soon. Just a wow type of feeling all around.
Just drove a long way again for another great time! The family that owns and runs the place are very wonderful. Great job guys, once again. Professional and fun DJ Dice for karaoke Wednesdays and Saturdays

This establishment is exceptional. My wife and I began patronizing it due to the consistently high volume of customers at the competing Mexican restaurant across the street. It has proven to be a fortuitous decision. The service has been consistently outstanding. We have developed a familial rapport with several staff members. The owner, Pops, actively engages with customers. They have witnessed our son's growth over the past three years. Every menu item we have tried has been excellent. The salsa and chips offer a customizable spice level, a testament to their fresh preparation. The occasional need for salt and pepper further underscores the freshness of the ingredients, a detail I particularly appreciate.

Very nice atmosphere, delicious food and great service. Had to bring some home for another day.

Such an amazing atmosphere and food!

We've been coming to this restaurant since it's opening.
At our latest trip yesterday, we were very disappointed. The prices have been raised to extremely high levels ...I.E. .$3.99 for a coke or sweet tea.l, as well as all menu selections.
The salsa was watered down...very soupy consistency. It ran off of the chips like water. The flavour of the food was acceptable, but the portions were extremely small. I ordered the Pollo Jalisco which was supposed to have >Jalisco sauce and cheese on it, but was basically bare. The refried beans consisted of one watery tablespoon, which required a spoon in order to eat.
My daughter ordered one of the food bowls which had very little food, but also a high price tag.
The meal was definitely a disappointment and a poor value considering the cost.
While we realize that food costs have risen to all restaurants, we still would expect that food qualities should remain high and that portions should be resonable.

Very clean place. Food has always been delicious and not overly priced. Service is great, seems like it's a small family running the whole show. They help each other out and are very courteous and friendly, they definitely make you feel like you are part of their family!

This is the best mexican restaurant around. I've lived in 3 differents states, I've lived in 8 different cities. And I would always choose los portales over any of the others. I drive an hour to come here from Rockmart passing 20+ other places but nowhere is ever as good. The owner and staff are the friendliest people. And the food is always better than the time before. I've never had a bad experience.
