This pizza was disappointing. Tasted like cardboard and got us sick literally. We have food poisoning from papa John’s. Both my wife and I have been releasing from both ends in a way that is not natural. I will not ever buy food from here again. And it’s a million workers back there so they’re definitely pushing those pizzas out so fast ain’t no way they’re all being sanitary. I’m really beside myself with this situation.

This used to be my favorite pizza place. Their service is not up to standard. Their online ordering goes down sometimes and they have the audacity to ask for a tip when you pick up your own pizza. The food honestly tastes bland and stale nowadays. Like the quality of the ingredients are minimal. The price has gone up way too high to validate the bad quality of taste and service. I will miss what it used to be but I will not return.

On Tuesday October 1, 2024. I order the back to school special 9.99 one topping pizza. The first pizza was a cheese pizza, extra sauce light cheese. The second pizza was half black olives and half chicken. My daughter ate the cheese pizza and woke up with a stomach ache and throwing up the next morning. I ate a slice of the chicken and a slice of the black olive. The next day, my OTHER daughter warmed up 2 slices of the chicken side of the pizza only to find a freakin FLY ? baked into the pizza. Omg........I called the store location(dallas nebo) ask to speak with a manager. I ended up talking to a team leader, whom I thought was the manager. Explained to her what my daughter found in her pizza the next night after warming a slice up to eat! As u can see in the photo, that the fly was literally baked into cheese. She proceed to say, we can NOT give you a free pizza or money back because it was not reported the same day!!!. WHAT???? I explain to her from the very beginning that. I'm not reporting this for a free pizza or money back! She felt like she had to consistently reiterate that!! I keep reiterating that I don't want anything free!!!, I just wanted to make them aware about the fly my daughter found in the pizza that was sold to me the night before. I ask for the owner of that particular franchise and was given the name Troy Tucker which she was hesitant to give me. Of course, she had no information to give me to get in contact with him. I then ask for a general manager information, she gave me the name Alessa. Who knows. It could be false information. But after all that, beware of this location. They WILL NEVER EVER GET MY BUSINESS AGAIN!!! No wonder they get a 3.4 in reviews!!!! Oh yeah I forgot, the team leader did inform me that pest control came today(the day after the fly was in the pizza) So she knows that have a insect problem!!! Smh.....shame on them.
It nice know that reviews are read and taken seriously. My review was read by Troy (the owner) and he personally called me. He listened to my concerns and went above and beyond to make things right. That is someone's who care about his customers!!!! On that note, I will probably give Papa John's another try in the near future. Thank you Troy for caring.

I did not want a refund but wanted it known to the mgr that atleast let the customer know that the driver just dropped off by a knock or ringing, as instructed on the order. Please continue to use Papa John’s drivers only. Thanks.
I have always ordered delivery from this location never had a problem until today. Always tipped well. The driver left my pizza on the ground without even ringing or knocking on the door to I forming of their drop off as PER REQUESTED on every order. I was wondering where my pizza was, I tracked and it said “delivered”. This time it was left out there and flies was flying around it. I called to inform the mgr what happened, told her I’ve never had an issue prior and spoke to a lady saying she is the supervisor and I never got an apology. All she said was she was going to inform the driver. This is shitty service!

Ordered some chicken Alfredo pasta and I thought I’d be getting a decent portion. But this is what I got. I ended up having to add my own ingredients to it to make it edible. More onions and mushrooms than there was chicken.
