Had the Meatloaf special.
Meatloaf was OK.
Green Beans very good.
Mashed potatoes were so, so.
Service was great.
Price was very good.
I wish they would cook their food in butter or tallow. Whatever they’re cooking it in negatively affects the flavor.
Went to eat whole catfish as advertised today, we asked the waitress twice if they had plenty of WHOLE catfish for the all you can eat. She said they had way enough of the WHOLE catfish. So three of us ordered the WHOLE catfish all you can eat, first serving they brought out 2 fish each, then time for refill the waitress came out and said she had bad news, we only have 4 more WHOLE catfish then they were out, I said I ask you twice before we ordered and now you are out, now not many people there were eating WHOLE catfish but you are out of WHOLE catfish, we that did not go well with me because I would have left and went elsewhere if they would have been up front about the Whole fish. They brought out some filets but they taste like the whiting and not like a catfish to me so I was done and disgusted with the whole thing and asked for the check.
No they discounted the ticket but it was the not being truthful up front about not having but ten WHOLE catfish for the three of us .I my self can eat 12 or more myself. This just got under my skin a little, I eat at Rodney's a good bit but this is my last time I will ever go to Rodney's. So be aware if you go to eat the WHOLE catfish don't expect to get no more than 2 or 3.
Rodney's Get Your Act Together, I will be telling anyone about how you lure people in for all you can eat whole catfish then say oh were outttttt
No wonder no one was eating here... I hate to be this way but you have to pay too much for food these days for it to be such trash. 4$ for a small sweet tea is a rip off. The pork on my pork fries is all burnt skin and the brisket sandwich is absolutely inedible. I will be returning to this location one more time only to get my money back.
For a perfect, hometown feel, this place is great. We've eaten here for years and have enjoyed watching this place evolve. Great people, good food, always friendly. Rodney & Tammy, the owners, are genuinely good people who care about each guest.
Great restaurant overall. We like the steaks here.
Ribeye was cooked perfect and very friendly service! Will be back!
The food was just regular home cookin. No complaints about the food. My complaint is they gave our food to the wrong table and we had to wait another 20 minutes for our food. No real apology, just said the waitress looked at the wrong table number. At least a little off the bill would have been nice or even a free dessert. Or a nice apology.
We needed to order for 20 plus people in a pinch. Rodney’s BBQ came through and saved the day! Our order was ready quickly and everything was delicious! We highly recommend!
Sooooo good!!

Rodneys went out of their way to help make our veterans day breakfast a success! They were wonderful to work with and the food was great. I highly recommend them for any occasion!

Stopped here for lunch last week. We both had the pulled pork sandwiches. That was the dryest pork I have ever had, ever. I'm honestly shocked they had the audacity to serve it. Only thing that saved this from a 1 star was the sauce. The sauce was actually pretty dang good. The service was just ok. Server was nice, but that's about it. Doubt we'll be back.

A nice mom and pop type place. Staff was friendly. Had a home feel to it and you could tell several were regulars when we were there. Clean and spacious.
The food however was lacking in all areas. Our group ordered a hamburger with fries, barbecue pork sandwich and fries, fried pickles and fried mushrooms. To begin with the pickles had a good flavor however they were slightly overcooked. They were the best part of our meal. I took one bite of the fried mushrooms and spit them out! They tasted like they had not been properly washed or prepared. When I mentioned that to the waitress she just shrugged her shoulders and said "to be honest they probably weren't cleaned properly"... The french fries were all cooked so well done I literally could not even bite into them they were so hard. The hamburger was overcooked, I had ordered it medium and it came out closer to well done. Perhaps the cook was just having an off day when they were over cooking everything but for a first time experience this was not a good one.
