We recently moved to town and this has been our go to lunch spot. My favorite is the chicken salad and my husband loves the barbecue fries

Love the Cuban sandwich! Also good is the sample salad platter - especially the house made pimento cheese! Good and service are excellent!

If this restaurant was downtown it would be the #1 place in Dalton. It’s great and fresh cooked. The atmosphere is nice and the food is great. You can pick up something from the market to take home for dinner.

The review from Jun 20 2019 may be the most bizarre and idiotic review I’ve ever read. Place is great. Most BBQ places are pretty traditional with wood benches or basic family style seating. If you have a bad back bring a cushion and enjoy the food. Just sayin

Really great food and service. Flavors are unusually and that is something I look for. Great size portions and super friendly staff. Eat a bite and then buy some groceries next door! :-)

Hearty, healthy food cooked nicely! Service is good. Pricing is fair. Kick back place with a quality butcher shop right next door.

Quasi dive bar kinda joint on the hiway outside of Dalton serving hella good Georgia 'que. Tomato-mustard sauce just a bit on the sweet side is the star. Baby backs, pulled pork shoulder and brisket cooked overnite are melt in your mouth. Add to them a list of authentic southern sides as long as your arm and you're in heaven. Definitely worth the drive.

Y'all, this food, they are ON POINT! Perfect spice blend, amazing combinations, juicy and tender meat, great sides....just not a single thing to complain about. Unbelievable. Just unbelievable. And a GREAT price to boot!

Best burgers I’ve ever had. Nice atmosphere and friendly folks. Good pizza too, and their brisket tips and rice are absolutely amazing! Come when the Butcher’s Market next door is open and take home the freshest cuts available anywhere.

This is the most hospitality I’ve ever been shown by a venue. Brian and his staff made me want to deliver the music they were there for from blues to dance music. Thanks for the invite and I cant wait to be invited again.

I had a late lunch on Friday at the Blues Street Cafe. The Brisket Tacos were great and the black beans and rice had lots of flavor. I will definitely go back again - the waitress and staff were all very nice and I had a great experience!!!! I highly recommend this cafe for a great lunch or dinner. The business next store recommend the Philly Steak and Cheese Tacos - I will order those next time....just had to try the Brisket Tacos this time!

I'd love to give this place 5 stars. But my husband would give it 1 star. So I compromise. Here's the problem. My husband is disabled and doesn't eat a lot and rarely goes out. We needed to waste some time between dr appts and being near Blues Street Cafe (a place I like alot), I took him there. My mistake. First of all was seating. Nothing but wood benches and metal chairs. Not a cushioned seat in the place. My husband has no fat on his butt. He also needs back support and the space between the seat and back in the booths hurt him. He couldn't find anything on the menu to eat. Ended up with a baked potato. I'm not sure what he expected. And he wasn't happy with the drink because they don't have 7-up. He drinks Crown and 7. Hates Crown and Sprite.

This was a popular place for many of my co-workers. I had been here once before alone and on one other visit with my wife. We were not impressed. I came here for lunch on a few occasions and on every visit I tried something new in the hopes that, given the benefit of the doubt, they might have something to offer that I would like. In short, they did not. My biggest issue was with taste. Practically all the flavor for all their burgers and sandwiches is coming from the other ingredients on the food (e.g. onions, peppers, lettuce, tomato, etc.) All the meat tasted very bland and flavorless. I tried 4 different burgers on 4 different visits. Also, I tried the Philly, all bland. The prime rib was dry. On 2 (of the 5-6 total) visits I made here, the service was absolutely horrible. Altogether, we had lunch 3 or 4 times and an early dinner twice. I never seen anyone playing music on any of my visits as they were all random. So, I can't comment about that and therefore, have no opinion on it. Should you resort to "flavor up" your food with condiments you'll be hard pressed to find anything beyond the basics. I have doubts about how fresh the food is here. For example, the Philly can't be ordered without onions and peppers which makes me think it is ordered bagged and frozen. With the Butcher's Market next door, I would have thought the meat would be fresh. I wonder also, what else is frozen and or precooked? In short, the food brings to mind a family gathering with food, grill and music where no one really knows how to cook meat any other way than extra well done, the only seasonings are "salt and pepper", and the condiments were pocketed from a local meat and 2 veggie style place so you got what you got. Unless things have changed they didn't even have A1. The fries smelled good but I couldn't eat them They are the large "steak" fries. If you like yours thick and potato heavy, you'll love them . Most of this would not be an issue if the prices weren't so high in relation to the quality. Ultimately, this is just another blues bar that offers finger and bar food at gourmet burger joint prices. If you have ever gone to a club or bar and found yourself hungry at 1:30 am and too drunk to drive so you ordered food from the bar then you know what you are in for, because, to me, that is exactly what it tasted like. Every time.
