Good food from the tropics mainly Dominican Republic and a combination of Cuban has a nice atmosphere friendly staff nice little bar area in which the restaurant itself turns into a bar setting quite nice.

The food here is conflicting. The rice and beans are fantastic and extremely tasteful; however the fried chicken was completely terrible. I wanted to throw up after. It may have been because the pieces I received were pretty disgusting, but overall I was NOT satisfied with the chicken. Definitely won't order that same item again. I will try again at a later date for a different plate though and hopefully my review will change. The salad is made of cabbage which is not in my favor

This place is under new management and opened doors once again today. The menu is limited for now but the owner talked with us for a bit and was telling us the new items he'll be bringing in for the meñu. It's more Puerto Rican food now and by far it's the best Puerto Rican food I've had outside of Puerto Rico. I ate their Mofongo and carne frita(fried pork) and it was all extremely flavorful up to a point that I was stuffed full and could not stop eating until my plate was empty. I paid 17 for my food and that was with two drinks. It was well priced for as delicious as it was. I highly recommend this place to many people. Currently the owner is getting the place a little more organized with better tables and seating. Give this place a try. It is worth it.

Food was great but like another reviewer said the menu is limited. There are 3 rices dishes to choose from ranging from $12 - $13. Each rice dish gives you choice of meat. Chicken, Beef, Pork, and something else that I can't remember. You get a salad as well and the dish with the white rice, you get a bowl of beans which are tasty! They also have two fried plantain dishes on the menu...fried yellow (ripe) or fried green (not ripe). We got the fried yellow plantains and it went very well with the rice dishes. My only issue is that the dishes are too pricey for lunch so I would probably not come here very often. I think they would get more business if they had some lunch specials and kept it under $10. I would like to see a rice dish along with a couple of plantains for $9.
