The place has a relaxed atmosphere and the service was friendly. We ordered a beef shawarma wrapped in a thin flatbread, and it was really tasty well seasoned and full of flavor. We also tried the fried mushrooms, which were delicious, perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside — a real treat for anyone who loves mushrooms. The sauces were excellent, and the red wine was the perfect touch to finish off a cozy, enjoyable dinner.
This is by far the best place to have a nice casual dining experience in Dalton. And, to benefit, it is healthy food and freshly prepared! I have met the owner ( he always greets you) and want him to know that he has proven, with good training, all employees can be nice. Every one of them greets you with a smile, thanks you and helps to create an amazing environment around the great food.
There is a book called “unreasonable Hospitality” which chronicles all the things a dining establishment can do to drive customer experience and cost nothing. Cafe Ostro has “it”! Thank you for a great meal and experience.

My wife got the sea bass and loved it. The lamb kabobs are perfect.
Visiting town and this place was highly recommended. I could've gone to one of the larger chain restaurants which was closer, but opted for something local and fresh instead. The location is nostalgic, very Main Street USA. Although it didn't work for me for some reason, the restaurant offers free wifi and outdoor seating, but I took my food to go. Food was freshly prepared (waited about 20mn for salmon) and tasty. I found the protein (salmon and chicken shwarma) to be slightly dry and I could've used a bit more seasoning, but still enjoyable. Portions were very reasonable. Was pleasantly surprised to see an all female staff and they were all helpful and friendly.

Ordered a few appetizers to accompany dinner, sadly the falafel was burnt to a crisp. After the owner reply that was a bit obtuse, I must state that it was a pickup order that I didn't look at until I was home. Not driving back for a appetizer.

If I could eat somewhere every day, it would be here. The owner is often on site and makes sure to check in with customers. The chicken shawarma wrap is to die for and the service is always very quick.
I came for a pick up and wait for a long time. The staffs are not so welcoming, when I asked how long it will take. They look at me like something wrong. Even the food is good, but the service has to be improved.

I kept getting ads about this place and decided to try it. I had the chicken plate with a side of hummus and they were both pretty bad. Pita bread seemed old, it was served cold and just didn’t have much taste. To sum it up it was basically very expensive fast food. Only good thing was that the place was clean and people were nice
