I moved here as a travel nurse, and I didn’t know anyone in Dalton. DBC was one of the first places I stumbled upon. They immediately made me feel right at home and quickly became my friends. They are dog friendly (you’ll always find a pup or 3 in the brewery) and they truly have the best patrons as well as so many awesome regulars. Everyone is friendly and warm, and you’ll always find good conversation. The beers are also so delicious and brewed on site. No such thing as a bad beer here, and they have a beer for everyone. They even make seltzer slushies in the summer which are so good! They don’t serve food, but there are so many restaurants in the area that you can order take out and eat in the taproom. Some even deliver! Trivia on Wednesdays is a must! It doesn’t matter if you’re good, the patrons are so kind, you can join just about any team and have fun and feel welcomed and right at home. This was hands down my favorite place in all of Dalton. Andy, Hal, Joe, Emily, & Elizabeth are just a few of the amazing people who make this place so special.

Stumbled across this gem on the way home from Florida to Kentucky. We felt like locals, everyone was so. friendly! Beer was awesome. Stopped for one and had two. Andy is a great bartender and loved chatting it up with him about the blizzard of 93! We will be back!

As a musician that plays DBC frequently, it should be said that this place has a special vibe for the musicians. Musicians are treated really well and it’s a great room to listen in also. The local musicians that play there also love to listen there. Great atmosphere, great beer and great people. “When you’re here, you’re family.”

Why would you close at 5PM on NYE, a holiday? Not only should you be open but how about some live music and specials. Questionable way to treat your customers.
We are from the neighboring city of Chattanooga and were floored at the service, atmosphere and beverages offered at the Dalton Brewing Company. We loved our first two visits and can't wait for the next. An excellent ambassador for the town of Dalton, Georgia!

Wonderful small brewery tucked away in downtown Dalton. They offer flights of FIVE beers rather than the typical four, so we had a chance to sample most of their offerings, which is surprisingly large selection. We found them all quite tasty, but especially their two stouts, the Milk Stout Irish Cream stout and the ReTHICCulous Russian Imperial stout as well as their Saison. I can't speak to the typical atmosphere of the place as we happened to be in town when the downtown businesses were sponsoring a "trick or treat" event for the kids so the place was jammed packed and parents ushering their children by the front to get candy. I suspect it is not always quite so busy, but the line on this Saturday was crazy long at times - which is obviously wonderful for the business. Another Georgia craft brewery you don't want to miss if you're in the area. Dalton residents are fortunate to have this establishment to frequent!

This is a great brewery! Accidentally drove past it the first time the storefront is so tiny. The atmosphere is a great aspect of this place. The brewery feels very welcoming and the brew-tenders are super friendly. Friendliest I’ve experienced in a long time. Makes you feel right at home. The beer is very good as well. I had the Oktoberfest and Saison and enjoyed both thoroughly. The saison was one of the best styles I had in a while. I should have bought some to go, but will be back soon for a second visit.
