Husband and I made the 45 minute drive down from Tennessee. We are big into distilleries and having completed the TN Whiskey Trail started looking for other nearby distilleries to try out. Found this one and decided to visit on a whim one Saturday and boy am I glad we did. Let us sample lots of different items, took time to explain their offerings. And honestly this was some of the best liquor I've tasted, especially coming from a "smaller batch" place. Walked away...
I visited Dalton Distillery in 2018 and again in 2020 when I was in town to attend family weddings, and had the pleasure of meeting Raymond Butler. He gave our crew a tour of the distillery and samples of his amazing ‘shine and sunflower seed liquor. (His samples added a little soul to an otherwise dry wedding). Even though we only stayed an hour or two each time, I will never forget the conversations I had with Raymond and his friendship. Thank you for your service Raymond...
This is real moonshine. Chuck and Trey are among the nicest people you will meet. These distilled spirits are craft made here locally, smooth and mix well.Go in and give them a visit.-always drink responsibly. ( heyoooo )
