We stopped by Gills Grill today, the food was fresh and very good. We had meatloaf with 3 vegetables, it also came with rolls or cornbread and a drink.
Two of us ate and our bill was $18.62
I would highly recommend Gills Grill, nothing fancy but it's clean and had good fresh food. Was fast through the line and the people working there were nice. We noticed that most must be regulars because everybody talked with someone.
It's hard to find a place where it's actually good and affordable.
Great place, we enjoyed our lunch especially the sweet tea.
Gills Grill is on Lakeland Road in Dalton.

This is honestly only used as an eatery due to convenience. The food isn't that good and the woman who works the drive thru is rude. If you have any other option, please take it.

It’s a basic cafeteria style restaurant. You get your tray, then tell them what you want to drink. After that, you will choose a meat (protein), then you will choose 2-3 vegetables and roll or cornbread, for lunch.
Very similar with breakfast, but the breakfast is way better than the lunch.
Their lunch options, minus the meat, is from a can or pre-cooked out of the freezer, then deep fried.
Breakfast is all from scratch. Biscuits are excellent.
There’s too many lunch options to eat food full of preservatives. Try “The Spiced Apple” for lunch. They’re the best in town. No one else comes close.
Stick to breakfast only here. It’s excellent. The staff are generally courteous, except for short, middle aged, Latino lady. She’s been there a long time, and I’ve never seen her smile, and she is very short with customers.
She would definitely have a different job, other than taking money, if I were her manager.
Parking: They have about 5-6 parking spots in the front. Everyone who doesn’t get one of those, must walk a good distance, to the rear of the building, in a gravel lot that is meant for 18 wheelers. Many large potholes. Very muddy when raining. Long walk. Hope you have an umbrella.

Very rude customer service. I called to ask about hours of operation for Wednesday. The lady was very rude and short spoken. Hours on the website says they are open tomorrow for business. She says they don’t have anything online for there business and she doesn’t have anything to do with that. (How rude)
