Very rude customer service. I called to ask about hours of operation for Wednesday. The lady was very rude and short spoken. Hours on the website says they are open tomorrow for business. She says they don’t have anything online for there business and she doesn’t have anything to do with that. (How rude)

My first time here. We got here right before they closed and they were so very friendly and sweet. We got out to our semi to eat, and oh my goodness, the food is delicious. Tastes exactly like food my mom and grandma would make. Our daughter absolutely loves the mashed potatoes. Deviled eggs, beets, rolls, cubed steak, gravy, slaw, potato salad, chicken, corn, and more. So very very delicious!!!!!

This is one of my absolute favorite lunch spots, especially on Wednesdays. Wednesday is chicken liver day, and all I can say is WOW! They are always cooked and seasoned perfectly. The staff is very friendly and helpful, which can be rare at other places, sadly.I've never had a bad experience at Gill's. The price and quality are beyond expectations, most definitely. When you pay less than $10 for a full, home style meal than you do for a fast food combo and the food is 1000x better, it is a home run.There have been times when I've come in after the lunch rush and some tables haven't been bussed yet, but you better bet they have been cleaned before I leave.Keep up the good work ladies and gents of Gill's Grill! You know I will definitely be back for those amazing livers, taters 'n gravy, and a heaping *double order* of turnip greens!

Parking lot was empty, so I thought they might value a customer. Entered. Not a single table occupied. Approached cafeteria buffet style area. Food looked cold / old / stale / unappetizing at 8:30 am. Waited there for several minutes while employees with their backs to me were laughing and talking, ignoring me. No eye contact. No smile. No "be with you in a minute" or apology for the delay. Looked around. Noticed three televisions with Fox "News" showing to the empty room, and one was tilted so the staff could watch it while they worked. Asked a staffer if they could change one of the Three to CNN. She said the manager doesn't allow it. She.offered to ask the manager. on my behalf. I explained that I majored in Journalism, and Fox "News" was not a News station, but a Propaganda Station preaching to Sheeple. She asked the manager who glared and bristled. The answer was NO!This business obviously is led by and caters only to Right Wingers who believe that CNN is the Communist News Network. I explained to them that I eat out three meals a day, and patronize ONLY restaurants who value customers who are hungry instead of indoctrinating customers with right wing extremist philosophies.
