We love Jacks- until this time. Maybe the drive to Calhoun is worth it.
A couple months ago we were dining in. The employees were loudly arguing- HUGE turn off. We hadn't been back until today- and well today wasn't much better.
I ordered through the drive thru. Every time I ordered something the lady at the drive thru would asked me questions that I had already answered. For instance I ordered a chicken strip meal with mash potatoes and green beans with come back sauce... she immediately asked what 2 sides and sauces EVEN THOUGH I HAD ALREADY TOLD HER. We went through this on all 4 meals that I ordered. Kinda rude and showed she didn't listen at all.
We got to the window and they immediately had us park and wait- I watch them park 3 vehicles. Are we cheating on drive thru times?
I had ordered an ice cream in a cup- they put it down with the hot food in the same bag. I immediately gave it to my daughter but the heat from the food had caused it to melt- that was a waste of $2.
My fries were WAY TOO SALTY- that's all you could taste- I threw them away.
Some of the chicken straps were VERY VERY SMALL (Like the size of 2 chicken nuggets).
My biscuit was HARD- I threw it away.
Justin idea but why not put mashed potatoes and gravy in its own bowl with a lid? Two of our dinners had mashed potatoes everywhere.
The store and parking lot looked clean- which is probably the only compliment I can give this visit.
I realize that you have economy priced dinners- but come on Dalton! Do better!!

Only thing that kept this being a lower score was the food was on point. We got there at 2:45ish there was a gentleman waiting that at first I thought on a order because he was standing back but he was actually waiting to order so sir I apologize. The dining room was a disaster, and the tables were dirty and the floors looked like they had been swept nor mopped in a day or so. The trash wasn't overflowing but it looked as if every tray in the house were sitting there and nasty. The manager on duty was in back with a clip board looking at oven Temps and stuff all the while didn't looks if she cared what the employees were doing which was standing around talking after they got the drive through order and the 2 front cash orders out. Then one of the girls husband showed up with a baby that only had a diaper on whom got passed over the counter to the girl while he and one of the guys disappeared out to their car for 5 or so minutes looking alot more relaxed and mellow lol. Then when they come back in the girl with the baby and guy left. All the while no one came out to clean the nasty dining area. So all said I can imagine how bad the bathrooms were as while at the back area's.

The bathroom will make you loose your appetite pretty sure it's a sewage problem an a not so clean problem as well

I'm a regular at Jacks. They greet with a smile, your food is ready at pick-up window almost instantly, and they have never gotten my order wrong. Thanks for not being greedy and holding prices down. I will keep coming back.
Highly recommend the caramel iced coffee! They were super friendly and our food was great.

This the second time I’ve been to this poor excuse of a restaurant. Just left after standing there for 5 minutes and employees were in the back unwilling to wait on the front. Had no customers in drive in or in front other than myself. What a waste of time. Owner may need to explain to the kids they hire the basics of fast food. They are clueless.
