This is the kind of lunch place I have been looking for. A great meat and 3 (or 2 ) restaurant with amazing country cooking. It's very affordable and everything was seasoned and prepared the way I like it. I have tried many other restaurants with this format but Oakwood is the QUEEN of the Dalton lunch. We happened upon this spot on our way to chattanooga from ellijay. The food was so so good. The 5 of us ate for less than $70. I wish it were closer to home because I would be a regular.

Came here while visiting from Florida. Absolutely amazing. The food came out so fast and was delicious. The young lady who was serving me was so hard working. Taking orders, running food, rolling silverware, greeting customers. This place is the definition of southern hospitality. Look no further and make sure to get the sweet potato pancake. You won't regret it.
