A childhood memory! We ate at Steak and Shakes while growing up. This was my first chance to eat in one, in years. It did not disappoint!Burgers and shake was perfect. Clean place. Very fast food service.

I'm astounded at how complex this restaurant makes ordering a bowl of chili with cheese. This makes the second time they've smothered it in onions and try covering the mistake up with more cheese. Clueless? Or lazy? Either way why is it so hard to make a bowl of chili add cheese only??

Ber-Gawk! (Someone's order is ready) Who's name did they just call out? I'm in there with mom, "Hariett" & I thought it may have been ours after a minute so I walked up to the counter and the slip said Richard. - Can they have the Chicken Lady perform a different task? Maybe try numbers? There's a great burger shack in Colorado that uses movie star names... DIRTY AS HELL. Mom checked the lady's room first. The trash receptacle orifices were so small you can't cram their dirty baskets in the trash and you can see that everyone pretty much dumps their trash on top & rakes most of it into the tincup sized hole. Time for some restructure. The place is like a really dirty Diner run by kids & the only adult speaks Chicken. And I "got an upset stomach" even though I washed my hands several times. A fry must have graised the moldy basket. - I had a lovely photo of their trash on their trash bins & floor & window but Google isn't allowing me to post it:(Parking: There's 2 entrances but only 1 exit so you can breeze right in but you have to wait for ever to turn left.

This must be the single WORST S&S restaurant we’ve ever been to. Was it the clueless cashier? YEP! Was it the miserably unhappy looking crew? YEP! Was it the RUDE manager on duty? ABSOLUTELY!!! Examples: I asked to have 2 “shots” of Vanilla added to a Coke. The cashier tells me, “we have a drink bar, you get it out there” - umm ok - went to fix the drink, no flavors to be seen. Went back to the counter and the Manager RUDELY said, “that’s EXTRA” - ok, no problem, HOWEVER, I asked for it during my order, not after the fact. While ordering one of my CHEESEBURGERS, Triple Steakburger (3x cheese), I asked for ONLY Mayo, pickles, lettuce and tomato. When we got home, it had ketchup, onions and pickles - NO CHEESE AT ALL. I asked for a total of 4 cups melted cheddar cheese to go with the fries, the cashier said, you may as well just get a large fries with cheese on it. I’m NO. That’s NOT what we asked for. But wait - THERES MORE! It was my Birthday - when I showed my app (now deleted), and inquired about the birthday milkshake, I was told you have to earn points for that. Not according to the corporate website you don’t. I even had my ID to show proof. S’NS use to be a fun place to go, especially with friends and family. Not anymore. I’m not sure who dropped the ball on this one, but it bounced from Dalton, GA to Los Angeles, CA. Bad, bad, bad. Outright pitiful and disgraceful. I sure hope corporate doesn’t come audit your store because I’d place a bet they’d snatch your Franchise certificate because this isn’t it. Happy Birthday to me?!

Went to the drive-thru and got my order they got it wrong had to go inside for them to fix it they overloaded it with ketchup mustard and mayonnaise how to get a bun from home to order for me to eat
