When it first opened it was exiting to finally have a local seafood place. The seafood boils were drenched in the seasoning of choice and flavor was great! Time has passed and now sad to say, it’s gone down. Crawfish have been dirty and what seems like the bottom of the barrel in size. The flavor is not there anymore so much that you can taste and see the dirt. You have to pay the $3.25 for an extra side of sauce because they don’t put enough for you to enjoy dipping it. There’s barely any garlic in it. Did they switch cooks? The atmosphere and service have not changed. It’s still a great place to sit down to eat. Just sad the food quality overshadows the service!

I absolutely loved the juicy seafood. We came here for my birthday and It was my first time having a sea food boil and it was amazing. My server hope was absolutely wonderful and very sweet. 10/10 I definitely recommend! I will be coming back here!!!

Disappointed by One Waiter, Saved by Another
I recently visited Juicy Seafood in Dalton, GA and had a frustrating experience with one of the waiters (Cesar). There was a special advertised — a free drink with the purchase of any pound of food — and when I asked about it, the waiter claimed he had no idea what I was talking about. When I politely asked him to check, he rudely told me the manager wasn’t there, which I know isn’t true. The manager (or owner) is always present.
When I pointed out the fine print stating “ID is required for alcoholic beverages,” he dismissed me and insisted the free drink only applied to fountain drinks, even though he had just said he didn’t know anything about the special. How can someone who doesn’t know of the promotion suddenly decide what is or isn’t included?
Customer service is part of the job, and arguing with a paying customer over something so small shows a real lack of professionalism. Whether the drink is $1 or $10, it’s the principle that counts. Cesar should be trained on current promotions and know how to communicate with customers respectfully.
If working in customer service is that miserable for him, perhaps it’s time to consider a different line of work. Knowing the current specials and treating customers with basic courtesy should be the bare minimum in any restaurant.
Side note: After that exchange, I’m fairly certain he asked to transfer our table to another server — and I’m glad he did. The second waiter was excellent. Ariana knew exactly what the promotion included, provided great service, and thanks to her, I did enjoy my free cocktail with my pound of shrimp. Her professionalism and attitude completely turned the experience around.
Juicy Seafood, please train your staff member, Cesar, better. I’ve enjoyed my meals here before, but this experience could have left a bad taste in my mouth — and it had nothing to do with the food.

Mariah is a nice and really good at her job makes u feel like home and treat you right and gives you a really good service. I really recommend you to go eat at the juicy crab in Dalton and get the server Mariah best service ever with her…. 100% happy 😊

We were a little disappointed in the food. Thought it was going to be better than it was. I had clam chowder and fried catfish with regular fries. Clam chowder was decent, but fish and fries were not. Not much flavor with fish or fries and the tatar sauce was not very good, cheap tasting. Fish was bland and more breading than fish. Fries were a tad mushy and no flavor. The other party felt the same. Atmosphere was decent as was the service.
Hope was a wonderful server. Very attentive and helpful. Great food as always. Thank you Hope for your great service

First time trying the restaurant. Food tasted great, we got The Shack boil. Service was fast and they were very nice. Price is excellent much better than red lobster.

Service was good and the restaurant is clean and comfortable with nice ambience but it is a huge place and it feels a little empty even when there's 50 people in there. The menu is a little limited with most of the seafood available as a part of a boil in a bag option. we got a couple of boiling bag options with crab and shrimp and scallops. the shrimp was good the seasoning was good, but the crab legs were small with very little meat. Also I can't be sure, but the scallops tasted like they were probably a stingray substitute and not real scallops. Pricing comparable to similar eating establishments like Juicy Crab and many others of this model. If you're a real seafood lover this is not necessarily the best place to go, because they don't have things like raw oysters or fish plates with vegetables and rice. It's okay if you like lowcountry boil type seafood with lots of spices. good place to come for a large party. The bar looked very nice but there was nobody sitting there at 7:00 on a Wednesday. I would have given it 3 1/2 Stars.
Parking: right next to a mall giant parking lot right in front.
