It is so refreshing to eat at a place where the folks who cook are not afraid to use a salt shaker! The food was outstanding, one of the best cheeseburgers I've ever had. The beef had a beautiful crust without being overcooked, which means whoever did the cooking understands that texture is just as important as taste. The sweet tater fries were perfect. My wife got the salad with fried chicken and my mother in law got the chicken finger basket. She says they are the best...
The food was fresh and delicious, seasoned and prepared just right. The fact that it’s run by a hospitable young couple is even better. If you live in Darien I’m sure you know but if not and are in the area, make sure you stop by there!
The food was excellent and so was the service. A family friendly atmosphere. The owner and her daughter were so nice!
