Nice location with a nautical/fishy theme. Inside and outside dining. Food was just OK.

I got super sick. My husband and myself think it was the crab soup. Because we shared everything else.

My husband and I ate here for lunch. I ordered the Loaded Pig and my husband ordered the Catch Sandwich. We had fries and sweet potato fries and 2 beers. While we waited for our food I asked the waitress for a dog bowl of water. (Something they do for their guest's dogs) She said they were all taken and she would grab one when somebody left. That never happened. Food came out cold and the beer came after we were done eating. The Loaded Potato had very little Southern chopped BBQ. But it did have cheese and bacon bits? It looked like it had been under the light for a while. The Catch Sandwich was cold but was better tasting at least. He also had the Crab Stew which is the only thing I'd recommend. Not great.

We stopped in randomly after seeing a billboard on I-95. This is such a cool little area to hang out. I live in Charleston and this reminded me a smaller, way more chill version of Shem Creek. We just stopped in to get a beer and some shrimp on the way back from Jacksonville. The servers and bartenders were all kind of just sitting at a table when we walked in but they jumped up to serve us quickly when we walked in. This is definitely a little local spot right on the water and that’s about my favorite type of place. They’ve got a nice screened porch as well so the noseeums don’t eat you alive. The fried shrimp seemed local, but weren’t anything too crazy. If you want fresh and local this is probably a good spot to start.

service was good, the atmosphere was fine...The food, way too expensive for the quality delivered. A small piece of fish and a half dozen scallops, with no real skill other than tossed on a grill than on a plate. Rustic, very basic preparation, with a few over cooked sides in ramekins. I'd be wiling to pay $32.99 for some basic skill, sadly here there was none. This is place that runs on reputation and no longer quality of food.

3 yrs later. Very busy and popular. Food was good but again- outside seating needs cleaning. Power spray tables and floors. Restrooms need clean and fresh coats of paint

The service was wonderful, but unfortunately the food didn’t meet the same standard. The oysters lacked flavor and were greasy, and the cheese grits were bland even after adding the extra cheese the waitress provided. After spending over $40 on lunch including the tip, I left wishing I had skipped skippers! Sadly, I don’t plan to return.

As good as fresh seafood gets! The service was excellent. Decided to try it on our trip from Asheville, NC to St. Augustine on a hunch after seeing billboards on 1-95. This was a great find!

The food was extremely over priced for what my wife I got. The quality was poor mine was over cooked and it was not mentioned on the menu that the flounder I order would be whole alot of bones had to eat with my hands so I would not get a bone. My wife ordered flounder and shrimp hers was the wrong fish it was grouper instead of flounder and under cooked. We both had eight shrimp and two hush puppies and both drank water the bill was over $90 !

Disappointing for somewhere I'd heard so many good things about. I ordered shrimp & grits with blackened shrimp. The shrimp were terrible. Wayyyy overcooked and literally black -- blackened does not mean burnt! It's a seasoning! The fried oysters were okay--a little soggy. The mac & cheese side was good. I may back to try something else and not order anything blackened, but I may go to blue bay instead.
