This is a place to visit if you are in Dawsonville and are a History of stock car racing fan. The food is good and the ambiance is definitely a small town family feel. The place was extremely busy the day we ate there so go with patience and enjoy the kitsch.

Great place for a hand pattied fresh burger
We went to the Dawsonville Pool Room today for a late lunch and really enjoyed our meal. They were close to closing time but they let us in anyway.The food and service were great.Everything was fresh with hand cut fries and never frozen hamburger meat.We will be going back in the future.

It’s obvious the Pool Room has been around awhile. But I had the double cheeseburger and Tina had a regular cheeseburger with fries. And I must say the food was great ! Friendly staff and plenty of racing memorabilia. This place was recommended by by the folks at the racing museum !

Nascar hot spot
Went there after a trip to another place owned by the owner. Great time there, not so much here, roof was leaking where we sat, alots of items not available, cool place if you like nascar history other than that take it or leave it.
