“I've sat in Because Coffee dozens of times at this point, sometimes for hours, to drink coffee and do a variety of others things—meet for chats, bible studies, or research and writing for school. They have amazing coffee, kind people who clearly have great camaraderie among themselves and with their customers, and a kind atmosphere that does not feel demanding. On the coffee, they roast their own beans, and you can smell it (smells amazing) while sipping your own coffee. Because they are regularly roasting their own beans, you can absolutely tell in the taste of the coffee. I usually get an Oatmilk Latte with no flavoring in it, just so I can enjoy the espresso's flavor. My all-time favorite is the Cortado, served in a small 8oz glass (real glass!). But, they also have creative seasonal flavoring combos that are amazing flavors that make it fun to get a flavor of the season latte as well. The staff are always incredibly kind, whether I'm ordering, asking questions about a product, or just checking in. So, I never feel pressure like I'm hanging around too long or need to move along. It's a great coffee shop and a great space to be.”

My wish for the northerners that are all now in Georgia & especially migrating to North Georgia…IS THAT THE ONLY PLACE you will come close to the REAL NY/NJ style pizza & pastas is Brooklyn Joe’s I’m Dawsonville. Not only that, but Jacob who is the manager goes above and beyond to bring you the BEST dining experience for you & family. I had given up on Georgia for REAL Yankee pizza…until now. The comments on political $h&I! on TV…is just ? & obvious. Enjoy your meal here if your visiting or moved to the surrounding areas. Georgia has so much great food already. Happy that Brooklyn Joe’s can offer a taste of the North.”

“A local mom and pop breakfast stop. Best biscuits in Dawsonville, hands down. Always served with a smile. Call ahead for faster service. If you are coming from a distance call to make sure they are, in fact open. As a small family business, life happens to them like everyone else.

“Tonight was our first time at Crumbl. I Stood. Add the order station in front of all the workers for about a good four minutes before being acknowledged. The young man Noah that came around and seen us standing acknowledged us immediately And helped us through the process. If it would not have been for him, we would not have Ordered nor came back to this location. The young lady with the red hair And piercings needs to be retaught Customer service.”

Olive Garden is very reliable, but this was one of the best.

Vegetarian options: They have the bottomless salad. I'm not that keen on bowled salads, but I always enjoy the salad here. Pastas and other options are available for vegetarians in your party, but cheese is a standard part of half of the menu, so vegan might find it difficult.

Kid-friendliness: It was extremely quiet when we came in through the front door... To the point that I had to lower my voice.
So, although it is very accepting of kids, parents might feel that their children are too noisy. If you have quiet kids, then you won't, have any stress here.”

“Julio and Claudio made sure we had a great 70th birthday experience. They put the sombrero on the birthday "boy" and brought the lit tray of 70 candles we snuck in beforehand out with dessert. Then they and their crew sang Happy Birthday in English and Spanish. The guests were thrilled! And on top of it, the food was absolutely wonderful! Love this place.”

“We love to go to The waffle House. We went this time at 1:00 a.m. and we were very heartily greeted by the cook and the waitress person. The food is always so tasty. The cook made each thing special.”

“This place is my guilty pleasure! I used to go to the Varsity downtown when I was a kid after Braves games and remembered the long lines and yelling and just couldn’t wait to get some greasy food and go try to find a place to sit. Well now all of that is way up here in Dawsonville without the wait and plenty of seating! I basically was able to walk up within seconds of arriving and order the same things I always did and it still tastes the same as it did back in the 70’s and 80’s!!

My favorite is the Chili Burger and Chili Dog Combo with the Onion Rings. They are so greasy but so tasty! They have this cayenne pepper shakers at the tables you can sprinkle anything you want to add some heat to. They have plenty of outside seating as well to enjoy on a nice day. Every time I’m up this way I can’t help but stop by!!

“My husbands name is Dawson from Dawsonville GA and he has thoroughly enjoyed Little Peking for the entire 24 years they have been in business. Stellar service never once has my water cup been even close to empty and the little yummy chippies never burnt. I would give my life for this restaurant and I would like to challenge the 1 star reviews to a trial by combat. We meet at dawn on Thunder Road. Your choice cowards.”

The dumplings are fantastic, and the marinated cucumbers are a must-try. I live in Cleveland and make the drive to Dawsonville just to eat here. The father-son duo running the place is incredibly nice and welcoming. You should definitely check them out!”

“Disappointed in the consistency. Every time I come with my daughter and get her a kids scoop, it is a different size, sometimes half a scoop and sometimes a whole scoop. I wish I knew more what to expect when I ordered the kids meal because otherwise I would just get her a regular combo to ensure a full sized scoop. Otherwise, we love this place.”

“Longhorn has the best value in the industry. When it comes to appetizers you will be shocked at what you get for the price. Some of their appetizers are down right addictive. The food quality is simply much better than you would expect in this price range. Tried their completion, that Australian themed place, and it wasn't even close. Longhorn's quality was heads and shoulders above them and yet the prices were still lower. 3 final words to make your visit more enjoyable, parmesan incrusted broccoli.”

“What a great experience we had here with a large group to celebrate a birthday! We sat at the hibachi table with nine people. Our server was prompt & courteous. We had a sushi appetizers & it was fantastic. We had almost every type of seafood, beef & chicken hibachi & it was all absolutely delicious. When the lobster & steak was cooked perfectly. The portions are huge & we all brought half of our meals home. Great service & delicious!”

“I've been to this chili's plenty of times, and this last visit was just sad. We had to wait twenty minutes to be seated, others were seated before us while we waited (with the same number of guests). Tables sat dirty the entire time we were there. Our servers were very bizarre. They didn't greet us at all, just walked up to the table as a pair and looked at us. Despite having two servers, we rarely saw them and they didn't check on us except maybe once.
The food runner, who unfortunately I did not catch his name, was very enthusiastic and seemed happy to be at work, unlike the rest of the staff.”
