“The Bully burger is one of the best burgers I've ever had in my life. I got the double and was amazing. The frys are delicious as well. Highly recommend. On a side note: our waitress Liz..... My god... she is literally been the worst waitress in my 38 years of life. From throwing the straws down on the table(seriously) to saying "great" in the most condescending tone after each of us(5) placed our order. Never once checked on us to get our teas refilled. She's is very miserable. How hard is your job to walk 8 feet each way? She seriously needs to be fired by Mr. Gordon. She was terrible and so unfriendly. What's sad is I've been eating here for 20 years and never delt with this sort of terrible service.“

“My twin brother and I celebrated our birthday tonight with our wives at this location! Abbie is a rockstar server! She very sweet, attentive, and respectful. The food is great. We've eaten here multiple times and we've never had a bad experience. Highly recommend!“

The father-son duo running the place is incredibly nice and welcoming. You should definitely check them out!“

“We were able to eat here for less than $30. I would that is even cheaper than a lunch at CFA. We got the chicken sandwich and a cheeseburger. For our side we both got salads. The bread and water came out immediately so that was a plus. We split the entrees for variety and were pleased to walk out for less than $30—$27 to be exact!“

“Tonight was the definition of exceptional service, when my little family walked in i was having a medical emergency of low blood sugars as a diabetic, my sugar was dangerously low to the point my vision was blurred i was pale and shaking. Upon entry i let the asm Cynthia know i was diabetic and my sugar was low and they immediately got me a drink before i could sit down, my server i cant recall her name was courteous and attentive and kept our table clean, drinks filled and good atmosphere overall. I live in Gainesville i personally go out of my way to come to this location usually but tonight i happened to be in town working when my sugar dropped. The staff here has a unrecognized talent in customer service. Great experience and will always return. Thank you ❤“

When you go, you must try the cocktail "The Gibson" and the Mushroom gnocchi appetizer! Literally to die for! I make it a point to return at least a few times a month!“

“The original VARSITY store is in Atlanta - However, this one was just as good. Legend has it, THE VARSITY serves the best burgers in town. True. The sauces are spectacular- I went for thr burger/hot dog combo with a shake. Great atmosphere.“

“I have not eaten at Captain D's in a while. Since they got rid of the Chocolate Cake. We came back to have the family eat some seafood. I saw an advertisement on the register for the Choclate Cake is back. I would say the food was rather disappointing. The hush puppies were burnt, the chicken breading has changed, and the cake frosting is not as good as the original. 7/10 would come back, but somethings would need to be a little different.“

Sometimes dealing with us can be a pain, but Nick and Hailey were wonderful! They were very helpful throughout the entire process and everything was correct and on time! They are both responsive and Nick has gone the extra mile for us and we are so appreciative. They made this year effortless and smooth.
