“Our waiter John was the best , very nice , respectful, took care of us promptly and was very personable . The food was great I got the Prime Rib burger and they had to substitute the sesame seeded buns because I can't have sesame seeds , that was not a problem for John at all . Also had a side order of their in house made kettle chips , they were so good . My daughter had the Chicken buffalo pasta , she loved it. Our appetizers were very fresh and hot also ...this place has a noce atmosphere and we got there around 4:30 pm . They weren't that busy when we arrived , however when we left the parking lot was slammed!!I would have given them more than 5 stars . Actually 10!!“
“Service is usually good at Waffle House but this location had an outstanding crew. Waitstaff was excellent! Food was very good as is the overall value. I didn't have a waffle this time but still highly recommend them. Can't beat the hashbrowns.“
“The food is good and the prices are fair! As many before me mentioned the biscuits are huge. I got a chicken biscuit and couldn't finish it. I'm glad I found this place for a good local breakfast joint. EDITED TO ADD: I have now had the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit! Definitely my favorite place to go for breakfast and the BE&C biscuit is unmatched!“
“I haven't been there to eat in years because of working too far away. But having the day off, I made a special effort to go for lunch. I had my usual cheeseburger with slaw, onions, ketchup and mustard. An order of fresh-cut fries and a sweet tea. It was the best meal just like it was back when ate them for lunch at least once a week. Thanks for keeping your food so yummy!“
“We are frequent Ray’s Grill eaters and today’s breakfast was just not what we’re used to. Although the flavor was still top knotch, it seems like Shrinkflation is going on. The amount of eggs and pancakes that I’m used to getting in the triple double was no where near the amount I got today. My husband’s wrap was also tiny compared to what we remember them being. All we have to say is, even if you have to raise the price in order to keep the same proportions, we would still come regularly.“
“This is a place to visit if you are in Dawsonville and are a History of stock car racing fan. The food is good and the ambiance is definitely a small town family feel. The place was extremely busy the day we ate there so go with patience and enjoy the kitsch.“
“This has to be the cleanest Waffle House I’ve ever been to. The behind the lines were spotless and neat and the bathrooms were immaculate. Our table was also spotless and we weren’t left to sit with dirty dishes in front of us for long.Our experience here was great from start to finish. We were greeted and offered a seat right away. The staff was friendly and our waitress, Trina, was very pleasant.The food was not your typical greasy Waffle House food you’re used to. It felt healthier. I appreciated that. It could have been a little crispier but I’ll totally take less grease to avoid an uncomfortable tummy later.“
“Had the two for $25 chicken, which included an appetizer (spinach and artichoke dip). Everything was perfect from the service to the food. I think our server was Stephanie who did everything just right. Loved the food being served sizzling on cast iron plates so the food was served hot and stayed hot. We are very fussy about restaurant food and being this happy days a lot. Kudos to Applebees. We’ll be back!“
“This location is new and so we decided to give it a try. It was very clean inside and they have tvs for kids and sports playing. They were a bit loud and when we asked for sponge bob to be turned down a little bit they were fine with it and it wasn't an issue. We ended up getting burgers and fries and they were very good. It was obviously made to order since it was served hot. They fries were super hot and came without salt which I appreciate. They do have a seasoning salt and salt you can add to your fries if you decide to. The portions were great for the price and honestly neither of us could even finish the fries. It is a casual quick rest is t meaning you order at a counter and they will call you when your order is ready but you can sit and eat it. We saw about 5-6 delivery drivers come in for pick ups so they do have delivery and it seems to be popular. I will go back to try boneless wings and maybe fried rice.“
“Our group was surprised to find out during out visit this week that Heron Grille has reduced their menu choices drastically. The lunch menu used to be 4 pages long, and now it is only 1 page. All of our favorites such as fish and chips, fish tacos, sweet potato fries, and house chips with Maytag dressing are now gone. So sad. I had a club sandwich on this visit, which was nice, but a bit pricey. Probably won't visit again in the near future.“
“We had dinner here for the first time last Saturday night and was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. The atmosphere was quiet and quaint. The service was good and the food was great. The portions were not overwhelming but just right. 4 adults with 4 entrees and an alcoholic drink each came to about $200 with tip.“
“We ate the double cheeseburgers here and they were tasty. Their fries are really good as well. Depending on the time of day and how long the line is you get one or two people serving customers and I've never seen the wait become too long here.“
“Captains Ds... Who would have thunk, fresh food, cooked perfectly and consistency... The southern whitefish is my to go meal that is cooked perfectly every time I order it. Always consistently good! I recommend ordering the funnel cake sticks to end your meal, they were cooked perfectly crisp and just enough sugar to end the meal... “Boombpa lobes this place so we decided to give it a try. Just a typical burger joint when it comes to the taste, nothing special. But the presentation was above and beyond! Your food come in a cute little box. The fries were not just tossed in the box they had their own cute paper container, then the condiments come in there own baggie. I will come back due to the uniqueness of it. Need more places like this“
“My family and I go to this location 4 time's a month.. Thats 6 to 10 people. We ask for the waiter named Grayson... :) he is kind and courageous to us every time, and when someone in our group is not there he inquires about them. We have gotten to know him well over these last few month's... So if you want a waiter that exceeds all expectations please ask for Grayson.... You will not be disappointed and as always the food is wonderful every time... Happy Happy Happy..“

“Great fast food place. Coming here and getting the butter burger next time. Don't know if the mushroom burger came w/ all the fixins or not (it was good but I'd like the tomatoes, onion, and lettuce in it too), but my son's kids meal came with all the fixins and looked better than mine. Love the concrete with the pecans and strawberries mixed in, the strawberries are sweetened though so keep that in mind if you decide on it as a mix in. As for the cheese curds. I was unimpressed. Tasted like they took top ramen powder and dropped a pound of it in the batter. But overall, this place was solid on the foundations: fries crisped, burger bun toasted, and the concrete (ice cream and mixins ) is a great touch.“
“Got 3 meat plate:Ribs were AMAZING. Great flavor, good smoke, fell off the bone, but not mush.Chopped Brisket: Pretty good. Nice mix of lean and moist.Pulled Pork: Quite possibly the most dry pulled pork I've ever had. It could have been overcooked shredded turkey or chicken for that matter. Wasn't really even edible, even with sauce.Sides were pretty good. Not amazing but they had a good taste.“
“We were looking for a place close by and stumbled across Papa Place. We read the reviews and concentrated on the lower ratings. We didn't see anyone that fit the description of a war horse. We were very happy with the cleanliness, service and the food. The grits were a little too runny for me, I like them thick. There were 6 in our party. We did have to wait to pay for about 10 minutes, our server was MIA. We will return.“
