“Christy catered our wedding reception and words cannot describe how satisfied we are! We told her the style of our wedding and she created a menu based on the price range we wanted and everybody loved it. The desserts were delicious as well and she did a great job with our cake too.“

“Went here for brunch with a group of friends from church. The atmosphere inside was vibrant coming off like an old diner with Las Vegas memorabilia on the walls. The menu was expansive with many options to choose from. I ordered their special Elvis cakes which were 3 pancakes covered in banana slices, peanut butter chips, and powdered sugar. The cakes were quite filling with no additional condiments needed. I also ordered a small bowl of their fried potatoes which were surprisingly good! Service was excellent despite the large crowd of people. Overall a great place to go for breakfast/brunch.“

“We had the carrot and ginger soup, and the baked Brie as appetizers. For entrees, we chose the Braised Beef Bolognese with gnocchi, and the Alaskan Halibut. For dessert, the stick toffee cake, and for the birthday person they brought the best pizookie-type dessert ever! Each item we had was outstanding! Can't say enough good about the food and service.“

“We have been traveling for the past few months from NC to Atlanta to the Shepherd Center to see family. We found this little jewel early on and always stop now. Hannah is an ah-mazing waitress and even though we don’t come often, remembers us and our drinks. Great food and true hometown feeling. Wish we lived closer!“

“This is a shout out to the best group of servers on planet earth. Today my family was at Fish Tales enjoying lunch when my grandmother suddenly had a medical crisis that at first appeared to be a stroke or cardiac event (ps - she is now fine). The entire restaurant of servers sprung into action - called 911 for us, made her a cold compress, got her some ice, guided the EMTs to us when they arrived, and basically took care of us in every possible way while we dealt with the crisis (with the help of 2 nurses who happened to be dining there too). They were all incredibly on the ball but also not obtrusive, just absolutely wonderful. I can’t imagine any of them were trained for medical emergencies or were expecting to deal with something like this on their shift, but they could not have been more professional, attentive, and caring. We are all so grateful. A truly incredible, impressive team!“

“Brooke did a wonderful job training the newer Brooke! This was my first time here, my wife ate just about everything on the menu, she is a type two diabetic. I tell you what she can put it down, and We will definitely be back just for the value of the food. My wife had the brisket Philly cheesesteak, fried green tomatoes, two Keylime pies, and four diet sodies. All for a great price.“

“Stopped by for dinner last night. Delicious burger cooked to perfection with thick slices of bacon , fried pickles as well as a new house appetizer of empanadas . Had a blast sitting outside and hanging out with friends . Also was shocked at how affordable everything is! One of the few places left where you can order a burger and it comes with fries at no extra cost. Great place to go to after a day at the lake. Will be returning !“

“I've eaten here many times for breakfast and once or twice for lunch. I've always enjoyed it. The food and folk are great. The people are always friendly. Biscuits are soft and warm. Eggs are nice and fluffy. And they are one of the few places in Hall County that does large smoked and breakfast sausages that are scrumptious. Only negative is their coffee. Not sure what they do, but it never tastes right, even when being a blend I use at home and like.“

“We went there on Easter Sunday and had a wonderful, very generous breakfast. No frills but good food and great prices. If you are looking for fancy pictures and dishes, you will be disappointed. But if you are looking for good food at a great price and very generous portions, you have found your spot. Definitely try it!“

“I’m not typically a huge fan of bbq because if the intense smokey, salty flavor. The pulled pork was perfect! Flavor was so good, just the right amount of ‘smoke’! The sides were delicious as well.“

“Best Philly I've had since I've moved here! But their real gem is their staff. They're incredibly polite,helpful, patient and truly enjoy their jobs. They have enough faith that they followed the owner here from another location which is telling in and of itself but all of them brag on the leadership he provides and how much they love being there. They give a better review than I could even try to.“

“The hash brown breakfast bowl is my favorite at Waffle House. Members of our church frequently go after the service. Stormy, the best waitress, is attentive and friendly.  Today we split a Cinnamon Crunch waffle. Instead of the waffle with an extra plate,  she split the waffle and dressed each plate into a smiling face. Details matter. This Waffle House #1865 is not the closest, but worth the drive. Thank you Waffle House and Stormy for the hearty meal and laughs.“
