“The Dawsonville Pool Room has a daily special everyday and it’s under $10 with a drink. It has been decorated with nostalgic memories all over their dining rooms. It has an outside dining area but the experience is better indoors. It only has one pool table but that’s about all it needs. The locals are always there so sit down and enjoy a meal, a glass of sweet tea and a delightful conversation about the Elliott family of racers and moonshine lovers.“

“Today we had Val as our waitress-she was phenomenal! Best server I’ve ever had! She works Thursday-Sunday! Their food is all good with a huge selection each day! We eat here several times a week! Highly recommend!“

“I’m born and raised a Jersey native. Have been here over 25 years. My wish for the northerners that are all now in Georgia & especially migrating to North Georgia…IS THAT THE ONLY PLACE you will come close to the REAL NY/NJ style pizza & pastas is Brooklyn Joe’s I’m Dawsonville. Not only that, but Jacob who is the manager goes above and beyond to bring you the BEST dining experience for you & family. I had given up on Georgia for REAL Yankee pizza…until now. The comments on political $h&I! on TV…is just ? & obvious. Enjoy your meal here if your visiting or moved to the surrounding areas. Georgia has so much great food already. Happy that Brooklyn Joe’s can offer a taste of the North.“

Everything about Little Peking was OUTstanding!! We were cheerfully received by competent professional Waitstaff. The table was cozy and beautifully appointed. Hot tea and crisps awaited us.
The waiter knew ALL the ingredients in Every dish and easily accommodated my severe food allergies. The soup was sturdy and Delicious, warm and aromatic. The chicken soup had cabbage, mushrooms, and carrots in a chicken broth. Seasoned perfectly.
Our food arrived as we finished our soup, and was equally Outstanding!“

“When I first moved to Dawsonville a few years ago, I was trying different Mexican restaurants in the area and All of them tasted like fast food. The service was awful. Then a local person who lives in Dawsonville their whole life said that we should try El Rios. It’s family owned, and the food is like authentic Mexican. The service is outstanding. They know us personally we go there so much. Even now that we moved to Dahlonega, we take time out of our day to drive 25 minutes south to eat there because we Try the Mexican restaurants in Dahlonega and they weren’t any good either. Now we’re spoiled because El Rios is the best! 5 STARS!!!“

“I just have to say the past 2 times I have been in I’ve gotten Kealun as my waiter. He is fantastic! Honestly he has a great work ethic and is always on top of everything. You will never be without a refill and he’s always watching. It’s very rare to find such an observant employee nowadays. Kudos to Kealun!“
