“We tried Loretta's for lunch since we were in the area it was recommended by a friend who lived nearby. The Chicken Lorraine was quite good and my husband had the meatloaf with rice and gravy and okra. I also had the macaroni and cheese and the okra as well. Everything was hot, fresh and yummy. We will go there again when we're in the Mundy Mill Road area next time we shop around Sam's Club.“

“Pleasant and fairly attentive staff. Our waiter seemed to have the entire restaurant so we did not have a 5/5 experience.
The music was not enjoyable and took away from the asian vibe..we encouraged a change but never got it.
The steamed dumplings will bring me back..my pad thai was not my favorite.

“Still the best place for Chinese food, if you're in driving distance of Oakwood. Furniture is the same as it was 25 years ago so expect that. It is perfectly clean. They work their asses off. Prices good for friendly service. Take out never has to wait, there are almost always tables available. Weekends way busier than weekdays--I suggest pick-up on weekends. 9/10 super friendly never had an order wrong in many, many, many years. ALSO they DO have Kimchi you just have to ask.“

“Stopped in at Fishtales for a quick bite to eat before heading to a concert over at Lake Lanier Islands. The food and atmosphere here are always great. The Baja Tacos were good (not really too much heat), and the shrimp and scallop skewers over the cilantro rice were a great special. We highly recommend it.“

The prices are usually reasonable but for some items I think they charge a little much ($3.50 for apple juice?). The staff are friendly enough to remember your name after a few visits. Ordering is easy with the new order screens. I really like being able to have a quality breakfast early in the morning when the only other option is McDonalds drive through. I’ve only had a few lunch items, the Rueben was quite tasty. Highly recommend even if you have to go out of your way. Sometimes I’ll drive all the way from Cumming just for a sandwich.“

However, the cinnamon roll was phenomenal. It was still hot by the time I got home to eat it. Very flavorful. Granted, I didn't dine in, I went through the drive-thru. Overall, a solid experience, and I will be back.“

“I live in Flowery Branch but recently took over Auto Fitness in Gainesville and I have been looking for a place just like Sweet Magnolia's. When my daughter visited me for lunch I thought we would try it out and I am so glad that we did. The minute we walked in I thought the place looked great and felt so clean. Made it to the counter and was told that it was family owned an everything was made fresh. We were made aware of the specials, the bread and the soup of the day. I am a Rueben sandwich nut and it's so hard to find a really good, authentic one and they nailed it. Fresh corned beef the right amount of sauerkraut and the thousand island was perfect. My daughter got the Cuban and it was also made to perfection. I understand the importance of word of mouth and reviews and if you haven't been to Sweet Magnolia's you've got to visit, you won't be disappointed. Now that I have found them, it will be my go to when I am craving something healthy (great salad menu) or just a fresh sandwich. Oh, the potato salad was so fresh and great as well. Thanks to this great place for changing the way I will be experiencing lunch, I'll be bringing members of my team here weekly as a reward for their work. Looking forward to coming back. “We went at about 10:30 am on a saturday. I got the sweet breakfast plate and my husband got a steak torta. The breakfast plate was pretty good and was a lot of food. The biscuit was nice and fluffy. I wasn’t a big fan of the coffee but my husband liked it. Now the torta my husband got looked amazing, I didn’t try it but my husband said it was one of the best he has had. The sandwich was big enough that he split it and saved the other half for later. I think next time I would try the chilaquiles!“
