The burger was perfectly cooked but lacked any flavor. The hot & garlic parm chicken wings plus dressings were on point. Of everything we had, Id come back for the wings and skip the other stuff.“

“This is a shout out to the best group of servers on planet earth. Today my family was at Fish Tales enjoying lunch when my grandmother suddenly had a medical crisis that at first appeared to be a stroke or cardiac event (ps - she is now fine). The entire restaurant of servers sprung into action - called 911 for us, made her a cold compress, got her some ice, guided the EMTs to us when they arrived, and basically took care of us in every possible way while we dealt with the crisis (with the help of 2 nurses who happened to be dining there too). They were all incredibly on the ball but also not obtrusive, just absolutely wonderful. I can’t imagine any of them were trained for medical emergencies or were expecting to deal with something like this on their shift, but they could not have been more professional, attentive, and caring. We are all so grateful. A truly incredible, impressive team!“

I tell you what she can put it down, and We will definitely be back just for the value of the food. Eggs are nice and fluffy. And they are one of the few places in Hall County that does large smoked and breakfast sausages that are scrumptious. Only negative is their coffee. Not sure what they do, but it never tastes right, even when being a blend I use at home and like.“

“My wife and I had lunch at Vinnys today 4/9/2025. This was our second time dinning there and we were very pleased with the food, price and the great service. Our server was Ellie and the service was prompt and friendly. The dishes were picked up the water glasses were refilled and we had a nice conversation on our trips to Europe. “After an early morning football game we were all hungry. Nothing really sounded good until I mentioned the Sugar Hill Diner.
As usual, it was packed. As soon as you walk in, you are facing the dessert case. There was a lot to choose from. We didn't have to wait long to be seated. Our server was extremely busy but she still managed a smile. She took our drink order. When she returned we were ready to order. Our orders encompassed a wide variety of their offerings. There was pancakes, sausage, bacon, corned beef hash, biscuits, gravy, toast, scrambled eggs and eggs sunny side up, fried potatoes and of course we had grits. Everything was to perfection. It smelled wonderful and tasted even better. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. She mentioned she was a little overwhelmed. She is getting married next week and her wedding planner just quit. We congratulated her on her upcoming marriage.
As we were leaving we stopped by the dessert case for another look. It was too early for dessert. But, we ordered a variety to take with us to enjoy later.
I had my blueberry cheesecake while writing this review. I don't have the words to describe how good it was.“

“We went there on Easter Sunday and had a wonderful, very generous breakfast. No frills but good food and great prices. If you are looking for fancy pictures and dishes, you will be disappointed. But if you are looking for good food at a great price and very generous portions, you have found your spot. Definitely try it!“

“I live in Flowery Branch but recently took over Auto Fitness in Gainesville and I have been looking for a place just like Sweet Magnolia's. When my daughter visited me for lunch I thought we would try it out and I am so glad that we did. The minute we walked in I thought the place looked great and felt so clean. Made it to the counter and was told that it was family owned an everything was made fresh. We were made aware of the specials, the bread and the soup of the day. I am a Rueben sandwich nut and it's so hard to find a really good, authentic one and they nailed it. Fresh corned beef the right amount of sauerkraut and the thousand island was perfect. My daughter got the Cuban and it was also made to perfection. I understand the importance of word of mouth and reviews and if you haven't been to Sweet Magnolia's you've got to visit, you won't be disappointed. Now that I have found them, it will be my go to when I am craving something healthy (great salad menu) or just a fresh sandwich. Oh, the potato salad was so fresh and great as well. Thanks to this great place for changing the way I will be experiencing lunch, I'll be bringing members of my team here weekly as a reward for their work. Looking forward to coming back.
