“Pleasant and fairly attentive staff. Our waiter seemed to have the entire restaurant so we did not have a 5/5 experience.
The music was not enjoyable and took away from the asian vibe..we encouraged a change but never got it.
The steamed dumplings will bring me back..my pad thai was not my favorite.
All in all..we would return.“

“Still the best place for Chinese food, if you're in driving distance of Oakwood. Furniture is the same as it was 25 years ago so expect that. It is perfectly clean. They work their asses off. Prices good for friendly service. Take out never has to wait, there are almost always tables available. Weekends way busier than weekdays--I suggest pick-up on weekends. 9/10 super friendly never had an order wrong in many, many, many years. ALSO they DO have Kimchi you just have to ask.“

“I stopped for my first time here and ordered a 10 hot wing with fried rice. The young lady ask if I wanted yummy sauce for the rice. Of course I got to containers and I paid for it later. Lol. My blood sugar went through the roof but the food was amazing. I will be back at this place. My brother had a friend who stop by and ask my brother if he has ever eaten there and was talking about how good they were. And he was telling the truth. It was amazing. So if you never been this is a must try place it will not disappoint you at all. Thank you for such great food and amazing service. I'm not sure what the young girl name is but she was awesome as well. She smiled the whole time taking my order. Thank you for that. That makes everyones day.“

I was first introduced to pho when I was 22 and working at a Korean law firm. For the past 11 years, pho has been my go-to meal for everything: hangover, common cold, emotional comfort. I'd not be exaggerating to estimate I've been going to different pho restaurants at least once a week for 11 years. This is the very first one where a waiter or staff member has suggested something and said "that's the way we eat it in Vietnam." Our waiter suggested a sauce mixture (the base of which is his homemade recipe) that had my husband saying the two quotes at the beginning of this review. And he added "it's like a Vietnamese holy water, purging the demons from my sinuses" before we left. I'd highly recommend this place. We'll definitely be back - hopefully we'll get more "back in Vietnam" recommendations too! It adds so much to the experience when someone shares their passion and homeland experiences with you - it is obvious food here is cooked with love. I took the picture when we were almost done because it was so delicious, I forgot to take a picture at the beginning.“

“I ordered a bunch of food from here on DoorDash. Sesame chicken with steamed rice was flavorful and delicious!!! Also got the pork lo mein and requested no veggies since it was for my son. It came out really good! Sooo many dumplings in the wonton soup!!! The only item I didn’t care for was the bourbon chicken. It’s very traditional with the red dye added to their marinade which I didn’t like. Egg roll was perfectly cooked. Was not oily or greasy like other people mentioned in their review. I will definitely order from here again.“

“I ordered the sesame chicken today just like that Hector had and I really liked it. I'm tired of getting fried rice nowadays with just only rice, but this place still does like with the onions, carrots and peas, as it should be.... I also ordered the Crab Rangoon's and they were the yummy triangles, not those cheese wonton things with barely anything inside. Good price point too and a can soda came with my lunch meal.

“Was in town for work and wanted something quick. Since my motel had a fridge and microwave picked up enough for dinner for 2 nights. Had Mongolian beef, massaman curry, and crab rations. I went to location to order although you can order online. I waited less than 10 minutes. Food was good and amount was reasonable for price“

“I went here earlier and the food was honestly soo good! The owner was so kind and happily got me my extra sauce 🥰 I had to come back and buy me some extra yum yum and teriyaki sauce! I like Asian food that reminds me of mall style food court food. This was like that but better! My husband got the steak and shrimp plate and I got the steak plate with shrimp fried rice. I hate to be a fatty but I’m so picky with my food and it’s been so long since I cleared a plate of outside food happily!!!“

“The portions here are enormous—definitely much larger than a typical single serving. The fried rice was delicious. I thought the eggplant dish would have been better with a crispier batter, and both the jajangmyeon and sweet-and-sour pork could use a little more sweetness. The staff were friendly, and it’s easy to see why this restaurant has been around for so many years.“

Thats not anything what this review is - my visit here was OUTSTANDING! The staff were all friendly, the location was very clean, and when I left the staff thanked me for my visit. As I went to throw out my trash, I intended to clean my table (former busser, I cant turn it off) the table was ALREADY BEING CLEANED!

Thus was such a great visit! I wasnt able to get the entire staff by name, but I got Shakira's name. Her staff at 1PM on Aug 11th all deserve as much praise as possible! Thank you Shakira! Ill absolutely be back!“

“To start with the positive - The food was excellent in freshness and flavor, the Hot and Sour soup, a very generous serving, was good but a little shy on spicy (hot) and flavor (sour). My biggest concern is when food is not served hot. All the food and soup was piping hot - outstanding! Portions were very generous plenty to take home. Speaking of take home - we like to dine in but everything was served in takeout containers - See photo. Fine when you leave with leftovers but not how I want to be served inside - so know that when you go in. You are expected to clear your own table - not what I want for dine-in. The atmosphere was below average - no problem if your getting it to go.

Before I ordered I was told the credit card system was not working. That was OK I carry enough cash for contingencies. I'm sure that was temporary.

I would highly recommend Friend's House if you are getting it to go but not so much if eating in.“

“I only keep coming cause honestly for a meal for 4 this is a nice way to feed a small group and the location is close.

Cons : often they will not fill up the large containers and its very awkward to have to ask to please add more.

Pros : location, One young Asian man and The one elderly lady are the absolute best at the customer service and not cheating you out, they are fair.

One tip come 30min before closing and whatever is on the line they will add abit more if you get the right server.“
