“Golden Buddah is the ONLY restaurant that does Hot & Sour soup right. We live an hour away, but when I'm not feeling well only their soup hits the spot. Perfect spices..heavy on pepper and the perfect amount of sour. And a hubby who drives by there on his way home..perfect combo!“

I was first introduced to pho when I was 22 and working at a Korean law firm. For the past 11 years, pho has been my go-to meal for everything: hangover, common cold, emotional comfort. I'd not be exaggerating to estimate I've been going to different pho restaurants at least once a week for 11 years. This is the very first one where a waiter or staff member has suggested something and said "that's the way we eat it in Vietnam." Our waiter suggested a sauce mixture (the base of which is his homemade recipe) that had my husband saying the two quotes at the beginning of this review. And he added "it's like a Vietnamese holy water, purging the demons from my sinuses" before we left. I'd highly recommend this place. We'll definitely be back - hopefully we'll get more "back in Vietnam" recommendations too! It adds so much to the experience when someone shares their passion and homeland experiences with you - it is obvious food here is cooked with love. “Was in town for work and wanted something quick. Since my motel had a fridge and microwave picked up enough for dinner for 2 nights. Had Mongolian beef, massaman curry, and crab rations. I went to location to order although you can order online. I waited less than 10 minutes. Food was good and amount was reasonable for price“

“I ordered a bunch of food from here on DoorDash. Sesame chicken with steamed rice was flavorful and delicious!!! Also got the pork lo mein and requested no veggies since it was for my son. It came out really good! Sooo many dumplings in the wonton soup!!! The only item I didn’t care for was the bourbon chicken. It’s very traditional with the red dye added to their marinade which I didn’t like. Egg roll was perfectly cooked. Was not oily or greasy like other people mentioned in their review. I will definitely order from here again.“

“I ordered the sesame chicken today just like that Hector had and I really liked it. I'm tired of getting fried rice nowadays with just only rice, but this place still does like with the onions, carrots and peas, as it should be.... I also ordered the Crab Rangoon's and they were the yummy triangles, not those cheese wonton things with barely anything inside. Good price point too and a can soda came with my lunch meal.

“I went here earlier and the food was honestly soo good! The owner was so kind and happily got me my extra sauce 🥰 I had to come back and buy me some extra yum yum and teriyaki sauce! I like Asian food that reminds me of mall style food court food. This was like that but better! My husband got the steak and shrimp plate and I got the steak plate with shrimp fried rice. I hate to be a fatty but I’m so picky with my food and it’s been so long since I cleared a plate of outside food happily!!!“

“To start with the positive - The food was excellent in freshness and flavor, the Hot and Sour soup, a very generous serving, was good but a little shy on spicy (hot) and flavor (sour). My biggest concern is when food is not served hot. All the food and soup was piping hot - outstanding! Portions were very generous plenty to take home. Speaking of take home - we like to dine in but everything was served in takeout containers - See photo. Fine when you leave with leftovers but not how I want to be served inside - so know that when you go in. You are expected to clear your own table - not what I want for dine-in. The atmosphere was below average - no problem if your getting it to go.

Before I ordered I was told the credit card system was not working. That was OK I carry enough cash for contingencies. I'm sure that was temporary.

I would highly recommend Friend's House if you are getting it to go but not so much if eating in.“
