“I came to your restaurant for the first time today. The woman I spoke with was very kind and down to earth. We chatted for a little bit before I received my food. I was late going somewhere today and God brought me to this sweet place. Thank you for your kindness and beautiful conversation. The music is very relaxing with the sound of a flowing stream in the background.“

“I ordered a bunch of food from here on DoorDash. Sesame chicken with steamed rice was flavorful and delicious!!! Also got the pork lo mein and requested no veggies since it was for my son. It came out really good! Sooo many dumplings in the wonton soup!!! The only item I didn’t care for was the bourbon chicken. It’s very traditional with the red dye added to their marinade which I didn’t like. Egg roll was perfectly cooked. Was not oily or greasy like other people mentioned in their review. I will definitely order from here again.“

“Food was good. But, the efficiency of the service was/is extremely absurd. The wait was so long. Our server forgot about us a party of 2 and even forgot about our order. That was crazy! We have waited long for our food in other places but it was reasonably long for a perfectly good reason but here at Lunar 12 was unreasonably long. Wow! It’s our server is what it was. She was really young and way too relaxed. We had to keep looking for her or keep getting her attention. I wash we had gotten her name. I hope if there is a next time we go there, we don’t have her as our server. I mean, she’s really sweet and nice but Daang! That’s was just nuts! The 3 starts is for the food.“

“I ordered takeout and got the pork intestine in dry pot, along with some hot and sour soup. The food was delicious! The dry pot was very flavorful, hearty and aromatic, perfect for a rainy day. I believe they use Szechuan peppercorn with this, as I had that nice mouth-numbing sensation. It could have been a little spicier for my liking, but that is my only remark (and I understand why they might take it easy on the spice to be safe).

The hot and sour soup was also yummy. It is one of my favorite dishes to order at a Chinese restaurant. I am pleased to say this is one of the better ones I've had! We'll definitely have to come dine in at some point in the future.“

“We’ve been coming here since 2006 when our family first moved to town, and it’s been our go-to spot ever since. The owners are so kind and welcoming, and the food is always consistent and delicious. Some of our family favorites are the chicken or shrimp fried rice, chicken egg foo young, lo mein, chicken wings, chicken chow mein, and Szechuan beef. We recently ordered takeout for a large family gathering and were so impressed that Sun Garden was able to prepare halal dishes for the order. It’s truly a neighborhood gem that we’ll keep coming back to for years to come! Their chili oil is also amazing!!“

Had some bad food from other local chinese restaurants and came to the conclusion it's just better if I cook this stuff myself, so I was worried about ordering so much food from a place I'd never tried before, but everything was delicious. “One of our top spots to visit when we are feeling Chinese and my oh my, let me tell you about the SpIcy Honey Glazed Beef I ordered?! Oh yea I tore. It. Up. It was delicious in all the best ways possible, the beef cooked to perfection, the vegetables were such a nice touch, but star has got to be the sauce. Sweet & spicy & flavorful. This will be go-to from now.“

“Food here is excellent! It’s my new favorite place to grab sushi. Their Chinese is phenomenal also! The wife and kids love coming here and enjoying a good meal together. The staff is super friendly and the manager is always walking around and checking in. They bring out little cakes at the end (which are so tasty). I can honestly say we haven’t had a bad experience since we’ve been going here. Highly recommend to others!“

“I ordered the sesame chicken today just like that Hector had and I really liked it. I'm tired of getting fried rice nowadays with just only rice, but this place still does like with the onions, carrots and peas, as it should be.... I also ordered the Crab Rangoon's and they were the yummy triangles, not those cheese wonton things with barely anything inside. Good price point too and a can soda came with my lunch meal.

“I went here earlier and the food was honestly soo good! The owner was so kind and happily got me my extra sauce 🥰 I had to come back and buy me some extra yum yum and teriyaki sauce! I like Asian food that reminds me of mall style food court food. This was like that but better! My husband got the steak and shrimp plate and I got the steak plate with shrimp fried rice. I hate to be a fatty but I’m so picky with my food and it’s been so long since I cleared a plate of outside food happily!!!“

I was first introduced to pho when I was 22 and working at a Korean law firm. For the past 11 years, pho has been my go-to meal for everything: hangover, common cold, emotional comfort. I'd not be exaggerating to estimate I've been going to different pho restaurants at least once a week for 11 years. This is the very first one where a waiter or staff member has suggested something and said "that's the way we eat it in Vietnam." Our waiter suggested a sauce mixture (the base of which is his homemade recipe) that had my husband saying the two quotes at the beginning of this review. And he added "it's like a Vietnamese holy water, purging the demons from my sinuses" before we left. I'd highly recommend this place. We'll definitely be back - hopefully we'll get more "back in Vietnam" recommendations too! It adds so much to the experience when someone shares their passion and homeland experiences with you - it is obvious food here is cooked with love.
