“Food here is excellent! It’s my new favorite place to grab sushi. Their Chinese is phenomenal also! The wife and kids love coming here and enjoying a good meal together. The staff is super friendly and the manager is always walking around and checking in. They bring out little cakes at the end (which are so tasty). “Best Chop Suey ever“

“Food was good. But, the efficiency of the service was/is extremely absurd. The wait was so long. Our server forgot about us a party of 2 and even forgot about our order. That was crazy! We have waited long for our food in other places but it was reasonably long for a perfectly good reason but here at Lunar 12 was unreasonably long. Wow! It’s our server is what it was. She was really young and way too relaxed. We had to keep looking for her or keep getting her attention. I wash we had gotten her name. I hope if there is a next time we go there, we don’t have her as our server. I mean, she’s really sweet and nice but Daang! That’s was just nuts! The 3 starts is for the food.“

“Amazing food and even better prices! My mother found another place that makes a mean Long Island Iced Tea so she chooses to eat here a lot. Everything has been phenomenal. I love the Pad Thai with coconut soup, all the hibachi items, and the sushi was fresh and flavorful-bagel roll for raw and shrimp tempura sushi for cooked. Good smokey flavor in the bagel roll-really yummy. I enjoy the shu mai dumplings and the Chinese dishes have their own unique flavors-I still have a lot of the menu to go thru. Probably going to get tangerine chicken, hot and sour soup, and marinated beef sticks next time😃“

“I ordered takeout and got the pork intestine in dry pot, along with some hot and sour soup. The food was delicious! The dry pot was very flavorful, hearty and aromatic, perfect for a rainy day. I believe they use Szechuan peppercorn with this, as I had that nice mouth-numbing sensation. It could have been a little spicier for my liking, but that is my only remark (and I understand why they might take it easy on the spice to be safe).

The hot and sour soup was also yummy. It is one of my favorite dishes to order at a Chinese restaurant. I am pleased to say this is one of the better ones I've had! We'll definitely have to come dine in at some point in the future.“

“Cafeteria style Asian cuisine for $1.80 per scoop. Nice size portions. I had some lomein noodles, bourbon chicken and chicken broccoli. My bill was $6.88 with a $1 tip. Food was very tasty. I cleaned my plate. Super affordable. Will be back when in the neighborhood.“

“I aint gonna hold you....this the closest you gonna get to NY in the area. I decided to try it out randomly. Wings and pork fried rice. The taste is def there but one thing that was kind of off is if you chop the wings in half shouldnt it be 8 pieces? I only got 6. Anyway the price is reasonable. I also got a shrimp egg roll but it was just ok. Def a pick up only spot, no eating there.“

“Let me start by saying that I’ve been dining at this restaurant for many years, and this is the first time I’ve left feeling genuinely disappointed. I’m not sure if there has been a change in the kitchen, but the food quality and flavor were not what I’ve come to expect.

The hot & sour soup, which used to be a favorite, tasted very bland. The garlic chicken, normally rich and savory, came across more like poached chicken and vegetables with very little seasoning. No one at our table had dietary restrictions, yet the dishes tasted as if much of the flavor had been removed.

I’m also unsure if this was a distribution issue, but my fortune cookie tasted stale, and the fortunes we received referenced months that had already passed, which raised some concerns about freshness.

That said, the staff was excellent—attentive, friendly, and efficient. The service itself was great. Unfortunately, the food quality has declined noticeably since our last visit, and because of that, we’re unsure whether we’ll be back.“

“One of our top spots to visit when we are feeling Chinese and my oh my, let me tell you about the SpIcy Honey Glazed Beef I ordered?! Oh yea I tore. It. Up. It was delicious in all the best ways possible, the beef cooked to perfection, the vegetables were such a nice touch, but star has got to be the sauce. Sweet & spicy & flavorful. “This is definitely a takeout joint but I refuse to take away points for restaurants on atmosphere when that’s not their focus. The food was amazing and prepared fresh and quick. The people were kind and hospitable when taking my order. It’s a hidden gem less than a mile from many houses and you should definitely eat here!“

“Was in town for work and wanted something quick. Since my motel had a fridge and microwave picked up enough for dinner for 2 nights. Had Mongolian beef, massaman curry, and crab rations. I went to location to order although you can order online. I waited less than 10 minutes. Food was good and amount was reasonable for price“

“Very good, and the owner is kind and professional. My only gripe is the lack of consistency. I order the same thing every single time and each time it's like a different person made it. Sometimes spicy and crispy, sometimes mild and the chicken you usually see with the sweet and sour. Still good though just wish it was the same every time I order.“

“Writing this review in the car looking at the front door of the restaurant. My potstickers/dumplings were so good they didn’t stand a chance getting to my house.
You can definitely tell they were made in hoise and not bought at Costco.

“Highly recommend the chicken burger sandwich. Its large and in charge. Definitely will fill you up. Fries are always fresh. Also the service has always been amazing and very polite / helpful. Take a break from your shopping in the area and grab your grub here.“

“I ordered a bunch of food from here on DoorDash. Sesame chicken with steamed rice was flavorful and delicious!!! Also got the pork lo mein and requested no veggies since it was for my son. It came out really good! Sooo many dumplings in the wonton soup!!! The only item I didn’t care for was the bourbon chicken. It’s very traditional with the red dye added to their marinade which I didn’t like. Egg roll was perfectly cooked. Was not oily or greasy like other people mentioned in their review. I will definitely order from here again.“

“The wings were small and a bit dry, which seems to be the trend with most small Chinese spots these days. Times have definitely changed.

That said, the wings were packed with flavor, the fried rice was delicious and perfectly cooked, and the staff, including the owner, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The service was excellent, and the food was hot and fresh when it came out.

I ordered the 8-piece lemon pepper wings with house fried rice and a drink for $18. It’s a bit pricey, but given the current times, it’s understandable.“
