“The manager, Wanda- I think was her name- acted with grace and kindness when a condescending, entitled “customer” (more descriptive words could be used to describe him) was completely out of line in the middle of a busy Saturday morning when there were obviously multiple people being trained. We love coming to this Waffle House and will continue to do so. The food and atmosphere are always what you’d expect.“

I went to Ruth’s Chris last week. I went to capital Grille two weeks ago. I have been too many other similar restaurants in the area. Nothing compares to Home restaurant.“

“We just visited this unique restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our meals of the pecan crusted trout and glazed salmon. Both were served with amazing grits and grilled asparagus. Our terrific server, Katie, was very helpful in explaining different menu items and cocktails, and regularly checked with us and shared with us the history of the building. So glad we discovered this gem!“

“Ate at Mary’s on Wednesday, joining two friends for a catch-up lunch. The atmosphere was home-like, no-one rushed us, and service was quick and friendly. I tried the turkey provolone on cranberry-walnut bread. WONDERFUL!! Sweet tea… oh, and coconut cake - some eaten there and the rest carried home. Yum! “The Duffers Grill serves the golf course and a great breakfast of the community overall. I have been enjoyed my breakfast several times lately. The team is working very hard, with limited space, and an amazing view of Lake Sconti. I believe that the food is very tasty, provided with a smile, and good food quality. My personal score is a 4.6. “Recently they hired a new chef or new chefs. Completely upgraded this place- prime rib special on wednesdays is amazing. Lamb chop special on Friday is amazing. Everything on the menu is amazing and delicious from what I’ve tried. Chicken calzone was amazing, cauliflower crust uncle Paul pizza was delicious, strip steak was cooked perfectly. Whoever the chefs are here they know exactly what they’re doing and deserve praise for how excellent everything is- consistently. Staff is very friendly as well but the chefs are the real stars of the show to me for how consistently they’re pushing out excellent dishes even during peak busy hours. View of the lake and golf course is excellent too“

“In town for a wedding and looking for Breakfast and came across Biscuit Maker! I had Biscuits and gravy, eggs, and Bacon. Everything was so good. Biscuits were fresh and fluffy. Portions were generous and the ladies working were so friendly. Highly recommend Biscuit Maker in Jasper!“

“I never write reviews but my experience at Applebee’s was so fantastic I had to write a review. Our server Olivia was the best we’ve ever had. She was so attentive, friendly, and considerate. We ordered the potato skins, but upon learning they were sold out, Olivia recommended the loaded waffle fries and switched out the beer cheese for shredded cheese for us. She brought refills very quick and our food out quicker. She also made us these delicious soda refreshers with passion fruit syrup. So good! The food was delicious as well. I got the cajun salmon and my boyfriend got the unlimited wings. 5/5 experience.“

“We really liked our visit. The hostess that greeted us and sat us was super sweet and nice. Our server's name if we remember it correctly was Mary Lou and we believe that she said the hostess was Annie. Mary was super friendly and made us smile. “Good breakfast, delicious and fresh. However I want to point out an issue with the credit card terminal, the tips are set at 25, 30 and 35%, pay attention before you pay and choose the custom tip option. It’s very dishonest to have the terminal setup this way.“

“The Waffle House breakfast, lunch, dinner, never seems to disappoint. Granted, there are some WH locations that are better than others, but overall the food is solid and tasty. The score here today is based on comparing WH with WH. The location I stopped by today was very well managed. Clean, friendly, and offering really good service. The place you want to go to and leaving happy. Food was prepared without any issues, the coffee was plenty and good, and I never leave a WH without finishing my waffle. A solid 4.8 WH score.
