“Wow! A must if you haven’t.
It’s pricey but they deliver on taste, quality, portion and authenticity. Absolutely worth it to us.
I went in Sat, during lunch time. I was kindly greeted right away, and led to my table.
Our server Sergio is THE best. So sweet, genuine and attentive.
Their horchata is Delicious! I’m SUPER picky with because you never know what way they choose to make it, and as soon as I tried it, I could tell they don’t cut corners.
I ordered queso fundido with toppings. The toppings are served on the side (perfectly crisp chorizo, poblano rajas, and mushrooms). And they’re served with hand made tortillas (insert drool imoji)
I also ordered trio tacos with steak. To my wonderful surprise they’re also served with home made tortillas.
My husband ordered their Enchiladas, 1 mole, 1 green, 1 red. He was amazed and obsessed.
We had some left overs to take home.
Their runners were also very thoughtful to give us what we needed for our to go food.

“True peruvian here! Atmosphere here is amazing. They really did well with decorating the place and making it feel like a very high top restaurant. I have a few things to say that they could work on though. First, my family and I ordered the "Jalea", it was okay but normally a "jalea" dish comes with a side sauce such as peruvian tartar sauce. All we had with the jalea was an onion salad on top. The onion salad was not drench with enough lime juice making our jalea appetizer very dry, thats why i'm stating there's usually a sauce that comes with it. Second, the ceviche needs flavor. Either add more salt or aji-no-moto, piementa, comino etc. The ceviche is prepared and looks great it just lacks FLAVOR. This is my second time ordering the ceviche so I know whoever is making it, is not putting enough seasoning. ALSO, it will be nice if they offer "rocoto sauce" because some people like their ceviche spicy. Third, first time our picarones were made to perfection (s/o to our waitress Aubrey? not sure if I spelled that correctly), second time idk if they make the waitresses cook the picarones... but the second time our picarones were not even a circle and were WAY over cook that it crunched when I bit into it.
Overall, the arroz chaufa, causas, lomo/huanciana spagehtti, seafood dip/chips, and pisco sour drinks were great!!! I will give this place an overall rating of 7.5/10!”

“Great place in Gainesville Square. Classic dark wood decor. Fries were hot and crispy, Caesar salad was very good. Beef sandwich was good and the burger is amazing. The desert of ice cream and cookie was really good.

Parking: Free parking garage 1 block over. Street parking is free but difficult to find”

I ordered the special of the day which was Flo’s filet with a lump of crab on top. The meal together was good along with the atmosphere as me and my friends caught up on the times. “Me and my dad went here for dinner. We ordered their special of the day which was bowl of French onion soup along with a pineapple-teriyaki burger and fries. We were quite surprised with the French onion soup which had a sweet aftertaste. When we inquired with our server, they mentioned that the soup had Coca-cola mixed in with it. We told them to send our compliments to the chef because it was very tasty! The burger was also well done and delicious. The atmosphere inside was very cozy with many people starting to come in for dinner. A nice place for dinner in the downtown area.”

“Went to Jekyll Brewing on Memorial Day with my Dad. The atmosphere looked very promising for a new restaurant. We ordered crawfish hushpuppies for appetizers and wagyu bison burgers for our meal. The burgers were cooked well, but the hush puppies were a bit overcooked. Our server was kind to us and offered us beer recommendations based on what we ordered. I took him at the offer and the beer I had the Hop Dang Digity paired well with the Burger.”

She does not slip a beat , she is why we come here because she is so friendly and her service is absolutely a 10 + !! Had the BBQ chicken plate which in my occasion can feed two and some, exceptional portions the sides where home cooked flavors by far I will take the credit for not cooking dinner anytime if we get to go back for more. A father and son bond as we where welcomed in and a 100 score on food certificate which indicated cleanliness as I saw the own cleaning and the son tending us with great kindness, Make sure to request the peach cobbler it's the cherry topper.”

“First of all, the place is extremely clean, the weight staff is incredibly friendly and courteous, and the food is not only delicious and well proportioned but also very reasonably priced considering inflation. It’s sort of a sports bar atmosphere, but who cares when the food is so good and so reasonably priced. There are literally no decent restaurants in Gainesville in spite of the fact that it’s a rather large city and has two major college campuses so this is a welcomed addition. Finally, they have a robot that brings you your food during the week. It’s a lot of fun.”

The trio sampler was a pleasant surprise with the spinach artichoke dip along with salsa, queso and chicken tenders with honey mustard being very delicious. The Monte Cristo sandwiches we ordered were quite heavy on the stomach due to them being battered, fried and sprinkled with powdered sugar. Overall, our time here was great with efficient service and good comfort food.”

Those crunchy croutons really rock! The refreshing bite-sized cut-up fruit dishes are an additional favorite, as well as a healthy dessert choice. The only entree I don’t personally care for is the fried salmon patties. ( In my culinary opinion. they need more chopped onions and lemon juice in the mix to cut the fishy flavor.) “A very small but nice restaurant that houses some of the friendliest looking staff and hard working cooks. I ordered the cheeseburger and fries with an horchata. The price was very good for what I got, which is better considering all food prices going up everywhere. It filled me up and while it wasn't the best, there certainly wasn't anything to complain about. I plan to return to try more Mexican cuisine. All in all, I would recommend it if you're passing town.
