Very nice restaurant and crowd. Everyone is dressed nice and polite. Very nice bar upstairs as well.Brook was my bartender and she gave me service unlike I’ve ever received in my 10 years of traveling all over world. I'm not one to write reviews but if you haven't been to the Stag on a Friday night to see Brooke Westbrook you are missing out. Not only will you be met with a big smile, you will quickly see her energy is infectious and lights up the room. Brooke will keep your thirst at bay with masterfully crafted cocktails while you enjoy some of Gainesvilles greatest tasting food. I can't wait to go back!

We just had a wonderful experience here. Jacob was excellent as a waiter and helped make choices for our meals. We had Hot Salmon with shitake mushroom sauce and it was so amazing we wanted to compliment the chef.Chef Zack came out and we had a nice conversation and got to compliment his sauce and meals personally.I would recommend this restaurant and comment that it is worth making a trip just to dine here.
