“My wife and I stopped by for lunch on Apr. 24, 2024 and we were served by Brooke. She was prompt, welcoming and helpful. We haven’t been to this particular location before, but we were relaying on our previous experiences with Out Back. Even though they a large chain, we find them to be very consistent in food and service. I think the Gainesville location has added to our confidence in the chain. Brooke was a very professional server who seemed to really enjoy her job. She laughed and “cut up” with us while taking our order and promptly put our order in. The food arrived exactly as ordered (not surprising for Out Back) and it was delicious. We left the restaurant feeling as if we were old regulars and Brooke was our “go to” server. I highly recommend Out Back in general, and this location in particular. Ask for Brooke.“

“We just had a wonderful experience here. Jacob was excellent as a waiter and helped make choices for our meals. We had Hot Salmon with shitake mushroom sauce and it was so amazing we wanted to compliment the chef.Chef Zack came out and we had a nice conversation and got to compliment his sauce and meals personally.I would recommend this restaurant and comment that it is worth making a trip just to dine here.“

“The food has always been very good. The service always excellent. It is pretty loud sometimes though but that's just most restaurants. Definitely a good place to eat. Portions are large too if you're looking for bang for the buck.“

“The hostess was abhorrent!!! They couldn't communicate above a whisper, and with the loud atmosphere, meant she wasn't being heard at all!! My wife had to ask several times to verify whether we were accidentally buzzed to the front (it was busy and we've been accidentally buzzed before) since there were several groups milling about, aimlessly crowding around the counter. Once that was sorted out and we found our booth, our waitress was fantastic (even pointing out that the person working hostess was a manager ?!!!) I ordered a filet and she got a sirloin...hers was undercooked and mine was overcooked. The waitress is the ONLY reason we will consider going back. Unfortunately, I can't remember her name...“
