The only thing I do not care for is the blueberry pancakes. Only about 3 blueberries in the pancakes. Everything else was excellent!!! I go every week or so!!!“
“This location is turning into my favorite! Mainly bc the cool lady that works there! She’s been working in Waffle Houses everywhere and knows everything! Her name is RACHEL and she’s an AMAZING server! The atmosphere when she’s working is vibes! Love her and I’ll keep going back as long as she’s there! Shes gonna make sure your order is right, and she’s gonna get it out in record time! She’s a hard worker, never misses a beat! Shes so good at her job! So easy to talk to and she’ll make you feel right at home! ?????? ?? The best cook is also at this location, his name is Jonathan P.! Cooks my food to perfection!! “Ordered a pecan waffle, large breakfast, and double cheeseburger plate with the hash browns all the way. When shown the grape jelly, we asked for and got strawberry, all the while our server was smiling. I asked for, and actually got, extra tomatoes for my burger... Excellent! Ripe, yet firm and juicy, the tomatoes were perfect combo with the onion. Ambience was chill even though the place was busy. It never got too loud. Server was excellent, just the right amount of attention.“
“The last of the 3 old Gainesville biscuit joints--Captain Don's and The Biscuit Shoppe, RIP. Cheap and nothing fancy, prices to match. I only get ham or pork tenderloin biscuits, so I can't vouch for anything else. I only do take-out. They are big and tasty, and yes, they have possibly been pre-made and sitting under a heat lamp after a rush sometimes; that's how biscuit places run. Hard to find these little gems these days. I treasure it. (Also, fyi, the biscuits at the Dairy Queen are pretty good, too!)“

You ask for dark hash browns, he gets them perfect, you tell him you want it sunny side up but not TOO runny... he knows exactly what you want. Gotta bike that meal up a hill?
