Just got back from the Suwannee Arts festival. The pulled pork sandwich I picked up from these fine folks was by far the best I have had in years! I’ll be welcoming every opportunity to indulge moving forward. 10/10

The Inked Pig offers excellent service and a great dining experience. The food is delicious, with standouts including the pork, cheesecake, banana pudding, ribs, and chicken. The pulled pork, fried okra, mac n cheese, greens, and Brunswick stew are all amazing—some of the best ever had. The ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender and don’t require any sauce, while the Carolina mustard sauce is very good. The staff is friendly and efficient. With great options for lunch and dinner, including amazing BBQ like brisket, pulled pork, and chicken, this hidden gem in an industrial area is a must-visit for BBQ enthusiasts in Gainesville. The portions are perfect, and there’s a nice selection of draft beers. The Inked Pig also catered a wedding with raving reviews from guests about the brisket and pulled pork, and the sides are delicious. The okra is the best ever found, and the Brunswick stew was served with spoons and bowls. The restaurant is charming, though the chairs could be more comfortable. The turkey, baked beans and mac and cheese were unique and delicious. This is one of the best BBQ restaurants, a great hole in the wall with excellent staff. Brunch items looked amazing, with the brunch cubano being plenty for two, and the breakfast potatoes were a good side. Others raved about the lemon waffle and the inked pig breakfast. They offered a peanut butter banana pudding that sounded amazing.
