“We come up at the same time every year to Big Canoe. we had headed to Jasper for lunch and wanted to surprise my mother in law with a little additional adventure on the way back to Big Canoe. She loved it! Glad you had a craft beer selection for my husband, also.”

“We just visited this unique restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our meals of the pecan crusted trout and glazed salmon. Both were served with amazing grits and grilled asparagus. Our terrific server, Katie, was very helpful in explaining different menu items and cocktails, and regularly checked with us and shared with us the history of the building. So glad we discovered this gem!”

“The winery is in a beautiful setting and there’s lots of outdoor space to enjoy the scenery. The indoor seating is good as well, although in both cases the chairs are pretty uncomfortable the way they hit your spine so taking your own camp chair isn’t a bad idea. The wine’s not bad. Nothing I would go out of my way for, but it makes for a fine afternoon to sit out and enjoy the weather — and in summer, some live music. The goats and their guardian dogs are a must see!”

“I come in frequently as I'm 20 miles away ...during the daytime I have the best service ...but this evening we walked in at 810 and both girls were so busy cleaning that I thought maybe the store was closed because no one stopped to greet or ask for our order ..I had to ask if it was still open to get service ..She said there is only 2 workers but i personally feel you are supposed to stop what you are doing and greet customers...”

“Hey All, just wanted to say thanks for the coupons on the back of the Kroger Register Tapes. I was visiting a friend in Jasper when we seen the coupon and decided to give it a try. What a great place and a great product, staff was very polite. Went back a couple times without the coupon but will make sure I grab next time for the savings. Thanks again Jax Coffee. “I’m not going to lie, but the staff is the star. Tori, Lola, Cathy and Mel are the best. They go the extra mile and put up with me for sure. Mel makes the best drinks in town and can be very creative. One of my favorite things though? They have Singo on Wednesday night and Karaoke on Thursday. I have been going every week barring a holiday or something major. I have the best time eating and socializing with all my friends. It’s important to me because it’s my one time to get out of the house. I would go bonkers without this fun and relaxing outlet. Please never stop… 🎶Where everybody knows your name and they’re always glad you came🎶 One thing that should be considered is that they haven’t changed or added to the menu in over 5 years. It’s dated and needs a revamp. There basically is no dessert either.”

“I'm on a new diet and ordered a salad with Bacon tonight. I didn't expect it would be so good. All veggies were fresh, lettuce was crispy, tomatoes excellent. The Bacon and chicken were cooked perfectly. I put on my Honey mustard and Red Raspberry dressings, and by mistake my wife's BBQ sauce....the combination was delicious.”

“Marcos Jasper is usually a great place to grab pizza. Today I placed an online order at 5:15pm to have ready at 7pm. Unfortunately, my wife waited 20 minutes after 7 for them to have it ready. The staff even had a pizza order that was supposed to be delivered to another client that sat on their shelf for over an hour. I am guessing there are some huge organization issues tonight.”

“Ever since I moved to the North Georgia area 9 years, ago all I could think about was this specific Chinese restaurant. I cannot express how consistent and flavorful their tea, won ton soup, and beef lo mien dishes are!!! Did I say the won ton soup? OH MY GOODNEESS I swear I genuinely will drive over an hour just to get a large container of their won ton soup. It's broth is just so amazing and tasty, and the noodles are so soft and light! It is worth driving over an hour to get their food, and no other Chinese restaurant I've been to has tasted this good.”

“A small diner. Pleasant service, pleasant and clean place, food is clean and pleasantly served. Cannot say the spread is huge. But worth the price you pay. I specially loved the cleanliness. Staff is attentive and make sure buffet containers are not empty. We were late for lunch and place was not crowded. We were a bunch of people who are vegetarians, pescatarians and people who eats anything. The spread was quite good for our preferences and we recommend this place for everyone. Especially want to mention that the restrooms were clean.

Vegetarian options: A few vegetarian dishes are available. Noodles and fried rice are eggless. Dessert and snacks can be options for vegetarians.”

“This place is excellent. I got a regular cheeseburger, it was one of the best I've ever had. It's not large, the price is very fair. They also have the slider Krystal type, I'll try that next time, but I can't imagine it would be better than their regular burger.”

I can't rate the food because I only bought a drink, but based on what I saw, it has to be good, too. You need more people like James in Chattanooga!”

“Good pizza not going to say it's the best imo. Ordered carry out, so atmosphere is what it is. Employees were nice and professional. If i had a complaint it would be, I used the app. Stated I wanted to have pizza ready in 45min. I received a notification that order was being processed and ready in 10min. It could have been user error also.”

The host, Shannon, was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive, making sure we felt comfortable right away and keeping us consistently updated on our wait time. He handled everything smoothly and really set the tone for a great visit. Our waiter, Edgar, was also very nice, attentive, and professional. He checked in on us regularly, made sure everything was correct, and provided amazing service throughout the meal.”

“Stayed at Big Canoe for a week and stopped in for a late lunch the night before leaving. Wish we had tried it sooner! Brand new facility decorated to the nines for Christmas. Elegant ambience with peaceful views. We both started with onion soup, flavorful, full of onions and lots of great gooey cheese. Husband had an awesome burger. Fresh brioche roll, thick patty. I had a Reuben on marble rye, it was loaded like a deli would have done. The service was top notch. Shout out to our 5 star server, Mimi. She was awesome and knows how to make dining a great experience. She would easily be at home in a 5 star restaurant. Super friendly, extremely attentive without hovering. When she learned we were visiting, she went out of her way to capture some great photos for us. All around great experience. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the club and we'll definitely be back . Ask for Mimi!!!”

“On May 31, 2024 at 10:35-10:50, the woman making biscuits was literally screaming at the other workers, cussing at them, yelling for them to "shit the F up" and "I'm not F'ing play" really loud. The entire store could hear her. She was wadding up the biscuits instead of wrapping them, and literally tossing them almost off the counter (one employee actually had to CATCH the food from hitting the floor). The one bagging the food was having to open the wadded wrappers to figure out what it was bc she couldnt tell. Then, other customers were coming back over and over again that were COMPLETELY wrong, and she got an attitude over having to fix her own errors. Other customers were complaining about her and her attitude, and we all were pretty upset. There were children in there!”
