“We just visited this unique restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our meals of the pecan crusted trout and glazed salmon. Both were served with amazing grits and grilled asparagus. Our terrific server, Katie, was very helpful in explaining different menu items and cocktails, and regularly checked with us and shared with us the history of the building. So glad we discovered this gem!”

“A little gem in the Georgia mountains. We loved the location and the wine samples. You can bring your own picknick and enjoy the beautiful view over the landscape. The winery is rather small, the wine is okay but staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.”

“In town for a wedding and looking for Breakfast and came across Biscuit Maker! I had Biscuits and gravy, eggs, and Bacon. Everything was so good. Biscuits were fresh and fluffy. Portions were generous and the ladies working were so friendly. Highly recommend Biscuit Maker in Jasper!”

“I’m not going to lie, but the staff is the star. Tori, Lola, Cathy and Mel are the best. They go the extra mile and put up with me for sure. Mel makes the best drinks in town and can be very creative. One of my favorite things though? They have Singo on Wednesday night and Karaoke on Thursday. I have been going every week barring a holiday or something major. I have the best time eating and socializing with all my friends. It’s important to me because it’s my one time to get out of the house. I would go bonkers without this fun and relaxing outlet. Please never stop… 🎶Where everybody knows your name and they’re always glad you came🎶 One thing that should be considered is that they haven’t changed or added to the menu in over 5 years. It’s dated and needs a revamp. There basically is no dessert either.”

“As a life-time resident of Pickens County I can say that this is one of the staples of our little town. Over the years the food, service, and people have been consistently fantastic. It helps local high schoolers get their first jobs, and treats everyone super well. I hope they're around for many, many years.

Their slaw is probably their best food item, outside of the hamburger steak. Their onion rings are hand-battered and their fries are always nice and crispy. Honestly, there's no complaints about any of the items on their menu.”

“After a day of shopping, we popped in for late afternoon lunch early dinner.We were both kind of craving pizza so we got a double pepperoni with a few vegetables on it.It was delightful. “I saw another vendor with one of your biscuits at the Jasper Farmers market this morning. I had to try one! Bought 2 bacon egg and cheese biscuits for my husband and I for breakfast. WOWSER!! They are huge and the quality is incredible! I don't buy any sweet bakery items, so had not tried your place previously. We are sold on returning!”

“Marcos Jasper is usually a great place to grab pizza. Today I placed an online order at 5:15pm to have ready at 7pm. Unfortunately, my wife waited 20 minutes after 7 for them to have it ready. The staff even had a pizza order that was supposed to be delivered to another client that sat on their shelf for over an hour. I am guessing there are some huge organization issues tonight.”

“I'm visiting from Chattanooga, TN and have been to many different Starbucks. My experience here with James as my server was beyond exceptional! It was the best experience I have ever had anywhere! I can't rate the food because I only bought a drink, but based on what I saw, it has to be good, too. You need more people like James in Chattanooga!”

“Had a event this pass Saturday! Talked to Chick-fil-A Jasper Ga . and gave them our order and time we needed to pick food up. We’ll arrived at restaurant about 10 minutes before pickup time . They immediately jumped into action and put everything together for my pickup in bags etc and was so nice kind and helpful in getting order to my truck. The people running the Chick-fil-A managers to the owner were very nice friendly and very kind. I’m very proud of Jasper Chick-Fli-A did great work everyone at event was pleased and happy with their food . Thanks , Dwight”

“Always a good time and a good meal at LongHorn. Enjoyed the salad with salmon and white balsamic vinegar dressing. Salmon was cooked perfect and plenty of salad.”

“Recently they hired a new chef or new chefs. Completely upgraded this place- prime rib special on wednesdays is amazing. Lamb chop special on Friday is amazing. Everything on the menu is amazing and delicious from what I’ve tried. Chicken calzone was amazing, cauliflower crust uncle Paul pizza was delicious, strip steak was cooked perfectly. Whoever the chefs are here they know exactly what they’re doing and deserve praise for how excellent everything is- consistently. Staff is very friendly as well but the chefs are the real stars of the show to me for how consistently they’re pushing out excellent dishes even during peak busy hours. View of the lake and golf course is excellent too”

“On May 31, 2024 at 10:35-10:50, the woman making biscuits was literally screaming at the other workers, cussing at them, yelling for them to "shit the F up" and "I'm not F'ing play" really loud. The entire store could hear her. She was wadding up the biscuits instead of wrapping them, and literally tossing them almost off the counter (one employee actually had to CATCH the food from hitting the floor). The one bagging the food was having to open the wadded wrappers to figure out what it was bc she couldnt tell. Then, other customers were coming back over and over again that were COMPLETELY wrong, and she got an attitude over having to fix her own errors. Other customers were complaining about her and her attitude, and we all were pretty upset. There were children in there!”
