“It's like going home for dinner! Rodney and Emma made us feel at home and the food was delicious! They greet everyone who walks in the door and they know their regulars names and orders. Will definitely be back when I want eggs and hashbrowns!“
“I ate here three weeks ago and also today. Big difference in food. Three weeks ago I purchased a plate with eggs, bacon and gravy biscuit. Real eggs because the shell piece told me so, not mad, happy for real eggs. Bacon was a bit crispy and tough, gravy was wonderful. Today I ordered same plate as last time, but was disappointed in eggs. The eggs tasted terrible, obviously poured from a carton, and the oil they cooked them in added a nasty taste to them. I don't eat eggs at Burger King or Bojangles because of the oil they use. The bacon was great this time and gravy and biscuits were great again. I'll ask about eggs on my next visit, if they are from a carton not interested. I hope they go back to using real eggs or change the oil they use for cooking. Nice staff and fast service. If they have to raise prices to provide quality that is in their best interest. They should also move, they are hidden from customers.Parking: Tiny parking lot. If other businesses are open I could see parking being problematic. Terrible entrances.“
“We have been going 1-2 times a week ever since they opened. We know most of the cooks and servers. Always pleased when Lee (red hair)is cooking. He makes perfect bacon!! See pic.We had a major storm with an all day city wide power failure this past spring. BG Waffle House still cooking because of gas stoves! Smart! Also never realized that the window walls had a purpose. No electricity for lights no problem! Sunshine! Never knew they had a power failure menu! Very Smart! Only restaurant open!Love Waffle House!! Our small city is very excited about its future opening. It will only be our second chain restaurant. COVID stopped its construction but they are back at it and it looks like they are close to finishing. It is walking distance from our historic district.“
“Good food, got a table straight away. They cooked the eggs just the way we wanted, waffles were golden and really tasty. Service was great as we never ran out of coffee and my brother and I love coffee. His bacon and my ham both cooked just right.
