Bummed it took me a handful of weeks to write this, especially considering how solid the food and service were. My wife had a Chef’s Burrito (steak) and I had the El Texano (shrimp and chicken, no steak) and both were fantastic and healthy serving sizes. Our server was fantastic and we dined in on a Thursday which offered me great priced Modelos! Highly recommend for fairly authentic Mexican food.
The service was great. The food was good. It's not the best I've ever had, but certainly not the worst. The half plate of nachos was smaller than the half plates I've ordered previously and had next to no cheese. I attribute it to current food costs rather than poor preparation, but their prices aren't so cheap as to skimp THAT much on ingredients. All in all, I'd go back.

This is one of my favorite places to get Mexican. It’s always easy to order, they have great specials, it’s not overly expensive and the fajitas are delicious. I highly recommend El Campesino.
