What a great surprise! The shrimp and oyster po boys were wonderful. We will definitely be back!
I started eating at this restaurant when I moved here 2019. At first I ordered fried; however, for the last year, I changed to the plate with white rice and catfish. I eat that probably 2 times a week! We get it as takeout, since I am disabled. Sure is convenient but most of all delicious!
Sooo…. Good! We got the shrimp and crab legs boil and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned and delicious. We will be doing this again. This was better than the fresh seafood boil we had on the beach in FL. 10/10 go get it now!

Based on the reviews, Mom's Cooking Seafood & Wings is a hidden gem in Dawsonville. The staff is super friendly, and the food is hot, fresh, and well seasoned. The catfish is sooo dern good, and the Po boys are out of this world. A fried shrimp po-boy was shared, and one meal included corn on the cob, potatoes, and hard boiled eggs in a bag. For a great price, the Fried Sampler is recommended, as it comes with a whole lot more for your moneys worth. The restaurant is closed for remodeling from May 9th to May 20th, reopening on May 21st.
