What a great experience we had here with a large group to celebrate a birthday! We sat at the hibachi table with nine people. Our server was prompt & courteous. We had a sushi appetizers & it was fantastic. We had almost every type of seafood, beef & chicken hibachi & it was all absolutely delicious. When the lobster & steak was cooked perfectly. The portions are huge & we all brought half of our meals home. Great service & delicious!
We booked dinner for 12 and it went very smoothly. Our hibachi chef, Bobby was excellent. He prepared awesome food and was full of jokes. We had a few picky eaters and not one did he make them at ease, but they loved the food. I could not speak highly of him. Our waiter was friendly and patient. It was a wonderful evening. Thank you.
If your wanting to go here for dinner, make sure your plans are clear and not on a schedule. Me and my mother went here for dinner to spend some time together. We arrived here around 8:30pm and left around 10:15pm. Your thinking maybe we ordered something that took a long time. Wrong. I got a Bento box and my mother got steak habachi. I would understand if it was packed. It was not. I personally understand if they were under staff or etc. they had plenty of staff. For how long we waited for the food, not worth it. The waiter maybe came 3 times to the table total ( including taking our orders and bringing food ). Another waiter saw us and gave us dessert, check, and boxes. I thought we should’ve tip them but it’s not how the “system” works.
First rate. Fresh. Great customer service.
Food was really tasty, it was clean, and our server done a great job as it was super busy. I would definitely dine there again,
And the chicken teriyaki was too salty. Disappointed. This used to be one of my favorite places to stop and eat on my travels to and from Atlanta
My cheeks are on fire! Andrew was the best cook! Kept the entire party of friends laughing. Lily was an excellent waitress. Asking for them next time we go. Provided plenty of food, everyone walked away with leftover boxes. This was our first time visiting Kani House and we will be back for sure!
I love the food at the Dawsonville Kani. Everything is fresh, the sushi and sashimi is delectable and the tempura!!! Every item is a hit. We especially love the flavors in their dumplings and crab Rangoon...nothing like the other places out there. Top notch.
Very entertaining chef, but food was so-so, yet it was extremely expensive. It was a challenge to chat among our 10 ladies lunching, as the table is a "U" shape.
This place is awesome ! The sushi is off the chain. It's some of the best I had in years. It was so surprising of the choices of fish. We'll be back

We went in for Sushi, and ate everything but. The crab stuffed Salmon was delicious and enough for two meals. Fried rice was great and enough that we ate leftovers for days. Our server Emily was fast friendly and knowledgeable about gluten allergies. The fried ice cream was so large the grandsons could not finish it. A really nice meal and experience.
