I make a weekly pilgrimage to eat lunch at Papa’s even though it’s at least 30-minute drive for me. I love all the menu choices, lots of veggies to choose from. And the chicken livers and the catfish are the best around. The only thing I haven’t liked is the bread puddling; it’s way too sweet, not at all like a real old-fashioned bread puddling. Tip to waitress: you should ask everyone at the table if they’d like dessert, not just the person whose meal includes it. Otherwise,...
Home cooking at its best. My wife and I were glad to found this place. It is kind of hidden. Definitely worth your time. Only serve dinner on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Breakfast and lunch the rest of the week.
