Spice Wing Dawsonville

The tables always have streaks after being wiped down, and some are broken or uneven, making them wobbly. Despite being relatively new, the place feels outdated and, honestly, kind of dirty.

Their Facebook marketing is also disappointing. I followed a promo over six months ago and got free wings, but recently saw the same ad again. It said I was about to receive a coupon but never did. When I reached out via DM, they offered a birthday program, which turned out to be false.

On the bright side, their traditional wings are solid. They’re not big and they claim no hormones are used. The service has always been great.

I really want to like this place more, but they need to focus on repairs, updates, cleanliness, and being more trustworthy.

Update 3/23/25: they use frozen wings. You know this then the bone is very cool to the touch after they are cooked and you see a little red in the meat. Yuck!!! Now serving micro wings!!!!! Get them here. On a positive note, l really liked their jalapeño poppers.

Do you like chicken tenders that are actually oversized chicken nuggets? Do you like to listen to soulless AI cover versions of pop songs at too high a volume? Do you like it when your wife complains of stomach cramps and has to be sick later? You'll love this place.

2 stars because the fries were fresh and delicious. The chicken "tenders" tasted like plastic and the chicken sandwich was similarly bad. My wife ate 2 pieces of the fried okra and dumped the rest in the garbage.

The staff were polite and attentive. Too bad the food was such a disappointment.

The music was a mix of AI autotuned covers of pop songs that blended together to form an auditory experience that was as artificial as the chicken flavored goop they construct the oversized nuggets out of. The bathroom might have been cleaned when they opened the place, but I doubt it's been cleaned since. We won't be back.

Best wings that I've ever had..I got the hot lemon pepper and it had great flavor, multiple fry options as well ( wedge , waffle ,curly, straight cut) and there are tons of seasoning options for fries (the Parmesan fries were fantastic). Great customer service as well

I recently dined at the restaurant and left me empressed. I ordered chicken tenders and crispy fries, and I must say, I was delighted. The food was amazing, and the customer services was top-notch, the staff was friendly and attentive. The ambient was great too. Highly recommend giving this place a try at least once.

Oh my god, the best food I have ever tasted. I don't understand how people rate the place less than 5 stars. The place is super nice, my wife and I ordered wings and burgers, the best I have ever tasted. The guy who cooks is super friendly and cooked the best wings I have ever tasted, I hope to see him again. They should raise that guy's salary, because he really knows how to cook. I would like to take him home to cook those wings again hahahaha.

We ordered a 30 count of wings. They were hard and overcooked. We called them to let them know the wind were unsatisfactory. The call got disconnected or either they hung up because when we tried calling back they would not pick up the phone. When we finally got them back on the phone again after calling from a different number mind you, We were told they would make it good. I took that to mean the would redo the order. So I took the food back minus the few I had put on my kids plate bc they had played over them. So I felt that I shouldn't have to bring back the ones they had slobber all over. One because with covid and everything else I didn't think they would want them. Upon coming in I informed them I was the one who called gave them the bags celery included. The guy proceeds to say I cannot replace the whole order I asked why and reminded that he did not say that on the phone he said because out of the 30 ordered it was missing 10. I said yes bc i had ordered them for my kids (3) and they had played over them. I said do I need to go home and grab them bc they were actually still on their plates half bitten. He said yes. I said fine. I go home and put all 3 plates in a bag and brought them back. I have been a customer of spicewing Dawsonville since they opened. They have gone through several owners, but I have never experienced this type of bad service from them. Today was the very last day they will get a dime from me.
