This review is primarily in regards to the delivery service, but also about the food or Taco Mac - Dawsonville.Once I completed a recent delivery order, the delivery time was estimated as 62 minutes...no worries.However, the delivery was verified as being provided by Uber Eats and that I was going to be the SECOND delivery for the driver. I did not agree to this and would not have agreed, especially since I was not offered any kind of discount on the delivery charges, etc.I was notified the order was picked up about 45 minutes after placement and "was on the way". For the next 20 minutes the location of the driver/order did not move.Just as I was about to cancel the order the order showed movement and finally, after 1 1/2 hours, I received my order.I tipped a generous amount and the delivery charge was the standard, so I do not know why I had to wait an additional 30 minutes for my food to arrive...ice cold.Taco Mac...you are in charge of who delivers your orders from your website. You are responsible for the delay and not notifying your customers until after the fact. If you want to provide a DISCOUNT for longer delivery times, do so up front on ordering...not after the fact.Now, to the food...what has happened to the Dawsonville store? The food has gotten so salty over the last several orders it is almost inedible. Don't just take my word for it, there are reviews on multiple websites that note the same. Please clean it up.I have been a customer of Taco Mac since their first location in Virginia Highlands. I was young & single and have loved the food since...I won't say how many decades that has been. Please get your act together on your food and your delivery policies or you will lose many customers...both new and old.Thanks.

The kid named Hayden is a terrible server me and 6 other people waited close to an hour before he gave us our food as we sat he walked around and counted his money and talked to a co worker, we all made eye contact with him as our drinks were getting lower, he then went to the back and got the food that was sitting under the heat lamp for 30 min

Went with a group of friends. Server named Hayden came and got our orders, then disappeared for about 20 mins. When we saw him, he was across the restaurant, counting tips and talking to another server for another 20 mins. He did not come to check on us at all, and then proceeded to bring us food that had been sitting in the back for about 30 minutes. Another friend also ordered a beer and he tried to serve him a beer that had been sitting on the counter for about 20 minutes, witch was watered down by the time he brought it to the table. The restaurant isn't bad, but that server was the absolute worst.

Natalie our server was courteous, prompt, and shared insights as we asked. She was top notch.The oven roasted mango chili wings were a surprise, excellent wing. The hot buffalo as a dipping sauce with the wings caused them to be my favorite in the greater Dawsonville area.Great beer selection.The manager and Natalie ensured we could hear and see the women's basketball game. Thank you!Pickle chips were ok, super greasy.

Normally the service is good but today the service was terrible. After we were seated we waited for 15 minutes and no one came by the table. 8-10 employees were hanging around the hostess station up front. We moved to the bar and still could not get waited on. The bartender was washing glasses but after 10 minutes he still had not come down to us. My wife talked to a manager in a red shirt. She said she would look into why we were not servered at the table and ask the bartender to take our order. After 10 more minutes we left as we could not get the bartenders attention.

Large group of adults and teens. They were very accommodating. Our waitress was fantastic. The teens were at a separate table. She had all the teens orders on the correct parents bill.

I have nothing good to say other than chris atleast acknowledged me. I eventually got my food boxed it up and left. For my first time going there and being from out of town and in the industry myself, they can do better. The only reason I gave them a star at all is being acknowledged.

As much as I would love to leave a great review, this taco mac in dawsonville was a flunk. The service was horrible— we were sat and we then waited 15 minutes without a greeting, or anything. I try to be understanding when it comes to service because I used to be a server— but it was barely busy. Our server checked in on us twice during our hour and twenty minutes of staying, and that was about it. The food was okay, wings were cold, quesadilla was lukewarm, salad was good, cheesesteak tasted freezer burnt and was lukewarm. Overall this experience was not great at all. ):
