Listen people this place is the BEST kept secret yet. I drive almost an hour just for their Burritos!!! I always get steak and chicken mix with everything. It's so fresh including the wrap. I couldn't wait had to pull over to the outlet mall and indulge. I'm certain the rest of their food is delicious, but once you try the burrito I promise you'll be planning for your next visit. Give Takoz a try it's worth the drive.

I have always loved this place! Usually a hands down best experience. I am hoping today was just off. The young lady at the counter was not friendly. I explained the last few times we have been her the chips have been burnt. I was going to get guacamole but changed my mind when she told me she did not know if the chips were burnt and would not check. Just seemed a little off. I was charged an extra $1.50 for limes. I received the same amount as I normally would when ordering 10 items. Oh well! It not about the money. Just not the same as we are used too.

Waited for an hour and still no food. I asked the lady at the counter if it would be ready soon because I had to go back to work, and she comes back 5 minutes later to tell me it "should be out soon". Left without food and without a refund since nobody was at the counter. Go somewhere else.

Best Mexican around. Authentic. I'm from Arizona and made many trips to Mexico. Their food is great, take out only. Everyone that works here is very polite and a pleasure to do business with.

Freshness, great flavor, and generous portions. This place is worth going out of your way for. Love the extra crispy tortillas and minimal, mostly plastic-free packaging! Buen trabajo!

Best tacos in dawsonville

I wanna start by saying I'm kind of a carne asada taco afficionado. I've been to probably hundreds of Mexican places (the legit ones, not the flour tortilla places) and always get the exact same thing - carne asada tacos - corn, onion, cilantro, steak.

Walking in, the store is very nice and charming. Lady working was nice and helpful. Lack of tables was a surprise but makes sense given the to go sign. But even gas stations have a couple. Would have been nice as a lot of people will go here while on break from work or traveling. Related to this, the packaging was mildly disappointing. No napkins or foam container to eat out of which makes eating in a car or sitting on a curb really awkward. Gave me two containers of the green sauce instead of like a pico. The green sauce is okay. Really has a lot of vinegar taste.

The chips are interesting. They're much thicker and crunchier than most places. Not my personal preference but also unique and kind of cool.

So the tacos. First the corn tortillas are not very fried (if they are at all). This makes for a fresher and lighter taco, but lacks some of the flavor and taste of the ones that have more oil and makes it more of a dryer mouth full of corn.

Inside the taco, probably could have used more cilantro and onion. Especially with so much corn. Really all you taste is corn and meat. The meat is fine. No ugly chewy bits but would have been nice to have it cut a little larger as it's just a step above ground beef. I'm being really nitpicky because these are like my favorite food and I've tried hundreds of different. Overall, they taste good, but not amazing. Still worth going if you're in the area.
