First the good. The trout was fantastic and cooked to perfection and seasoned wonderfully. My waiter was very thoughtful and very kind. I was impressed how he graciously handled a customer who was being rude. The space is very cute inside with a colorful mural in one room and a little more fancy in the second room. Now the not great. I never like QR code menus. I can see it for a take out restaurant but not a place referring to itself as a bistro. I ordered the stuffed date appetizer....
We were one of two groups in the restaurant. After an hour waiting on brunch we were about to walk out. As I stood up it finally came out. Food was decent but everything was overcooked. I was disappointed after seeing so many good reviews. Between the slow service, mediocre food, high price and included gratuity I won’t be coming back.
