Stopped by for a few drinks last night. My first time experiencing benchwarmers. I sat at the bar and was greeted by the bartender. She was SPECTACULAR! Considering she was busy making orders for not only her bar, but the WHOLE restaurant, she never made it known. Very attentive, friendly, and drinks were phenomenal. Never saw her sweat, or become overwhelmed. Handled it like a complete boss! Service industry workers don't get enough credit. Will definitely be back to see...
Customer service was extremely slow for a restaurant that was not crowded. I wish I would have captured my meal because its presentation did not disappoint. It was very tasty. I had the smothered hamburger steak, collard greens (perfectly seasoned), and salad. Go when not rushed so that you can truly enjoy the full effect.
Order a beer or a “normal” drink. The bartenders are nice but aren’t experts (I ordered an Old Fashion and it was…yuck). The food was typical bar food (good, hot and plentiful) and the servers were engaged. I’ll be back - it’s a sports bar :-)
