This is a pretty decent brunch spot. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly and as attentive as they can be with how busy it can get. They really need a better arrangement for where people should wait for a table. If it’s too cold outside then people are just going to wait inside next to the only entrance. There were also a lot of people just waiting next to our table where we ate. The table was a little small and wobbly but we didn’t mind because it fit the vibes of the place nicely. We enjoyed all of the unique art on the walls. The food was okay, the fried green tomatoes were good. The French toast was great and so was the burger. They do not skimp on portion size! Overall a pretty neat brunch spot if you’re in the area.

Menu prices are not accurate, food portions half of the menu are disproportionate to the price and the descriptions are not clear. Biscuit was dry and chewy, not soft and flakey, pork was super thin, small and dry. I will not go back

Enjoyed an EXCELLENT breakfast of English muffins, Canadian Bacon, poached eggs, spinach with a delicious hollandaise sauce accompanied by great tasting crispy hash browns. This along with coffee and a “tomato” based beverage on ice. After a bit, in walks the lady who recommended this spot to me while I was taking my morning walk. Recommend trying FOLK ART for your breakfast START.

This was my first time dining here. My sister recommended it bc she went to the Moreland location. She raved so much about it. So, I decided to go the Decatur c location. Ummm, let's just say I want impressed. The dining experience, atmosphere, & location are all 5 stars. However, the food is ho hum. I ordered from breakfast menu. I chose the sweet potato waffle with pecan cinnamon toppings. The waffle was superb! I felt that was the only thing that was cooked well. I chose the short rib and grits. The ribs were braised pulled meat. It must Def was tender and had a flavorful gravy. It's just the gravy had more of a sweetness to it than I preferred. The grits were stone ground. Let's just say that no love was put into the grits. I expected creamy buttered grits instead received plain watered and lumped grits. I think I'll try the Moreland location to see if the food is good.

Ummmm I called for a to go order and their system, that apparently cannot be changed, charges 15% automatically for gratuity. That would be a negative. I tip, but assuming you’ll get 15% on a TO GO order is nonsense. They also aren’t forthcoming about it either when placing the order over the phone. I did quick math and was confused how my total was that high. Very misleading.

Chef's kiss.
Amazing, friendly and fun service, delicious food and a good menu. Contemporary diner style eats done right. One of my favorites during my US travels. Thanks team!

Great food and friendly service. Fun ambiance. My wife loved the biscuits and gravy. I had the corned beef and it was actual sliced corned beef. Very delicious!

With the exception of being seated at a table that appeared to be in the lobby, everything else, my drink, appetizer, entrée and service were top tier! I will definitely be a repeat customer!

We walked right in and sat down at about 9:30 Saturday morning. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. Four people delivered the food and all items were hot and delicious. I wanted the blackened catfish and grits which seemed like too much food but when I split I with my daughter , which they separated onto two bowls without being asked, was still plenty of food. The sweet potato waffle is dense and chewy. Buttermilk batter with grated sweet potato makes a most attractive bite. I ate my one quarter without butter or syrup. It was good all by itself. The table split one in case we didn’t like it and later, we were all too full to get another. Arugula salad , with Salmon, was available for breakfast and one of us ordered that and ate all of it with a smile. We will eat there again tomorrow morning if time allows.
