Fawn Wine + Amaro Reviews
The tasting menu and wine pairings were excellent.
This is our new favorite date night go-to spot. It’s just SO GOOD in every way! The creative seafood menu is absolutely delicious - you cannot go wrong even if you don’t really know what you’re ordering. Some of our favs have been the Anchovies, Broiled oysters, grilled cheese, spaghettini, fish plate, and pastel de nata. It’s also a very intimate/cozy/warm environment with excellent drinks and wine list. The staff are authentically friendly and extremely knowledgeable....read full review
Quite in love with this place! Came with friends after an opening at the new Cat Eye gallery, service was great, Jess took us thru the menu and helped us pick out great bites and drinks- topped it off with more drinks, amaro and chocolates!
To consider, tables here are likely not meant not for 4 ( but can seat 4) and there’s one bathroom, but there was no pileup in that area so overall, quite pleased!

Fawn Wine + Amaro is a cozy restaurant and bar with a warm, comfortable ambiance, featuring low lighting and elegant tables. It is a pleasant spot perfect for slowing down, enjoying a well-made drink, and having good conversation. The bar is a standout, with an excellent selection of thoughtfully picked wines and a real highlight of amaro options, all poured with care. The cocktails are really good, including the notable four amaro espresso martini. Happy hour is available on Saturdays.
The food focuses on interesting and innovative seafood dishes. Reviews recommend the small plates, such as the ouef mimosa soft boiled eggs, salmon belly bacon, grilled oysters, shrimp, and fritto misso. Experiences with entrees vary; while some find each dish delicious, others note that items like the fish dishes, pasta, spaghetti, fruit de mar burger, and seafood can sometimes be lukewarm, chewy, or needing more acid or heat. The chef's tasting menu offers a unique spin with multiple courses, like oysters with enoki mushrooms and a beet snack.
Service is consistently described as good, relaxed, professional, and attentive without being overbearing. Staff are friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. It is a place to drink slowly and talk with friends, often leading guests to plan a return visit. Reservations are highly recommended, especially as it gets busier later in the evening.
