“We stumbled across this ice cream place by driving by during a visit from out of town. Little did we know they were 1 minute away from closing - we got to the window and realized that it was 1 minute from closing so we were just going to leave (never want to be "those" people) - The lady inside insisted on serving us and told us that it was no problem at all. We chatted while she was scooping our ice cream and learned that she was the owner here and has been in business many years. Our ice cream was SO good and priced well! We will definitely back during our next visit to Chamblee/ATL!“

“Came here for dinner. I ordered the mozzarella dog and the original oh-k dog hot dog. I got the hot dog tossed in sugar at the end and it was delicious! I added some honey butter seasoning to both of them and it enhanced the flavor. The cheese dog was good and hot but nothing too special. I definitely want to come back and try the hot cheetos flavored ones. The gentleman who took my order was nice and explained things to me. Service was quick, only took about 5-7 minutes for my food to come out. It’s an open food mall court type style seating so plenty of it.“

“Delicious last night eats. Ended up at Woody's for the first time. Great choice! Had to stand outside until the counter was empty. Placed order for 2 cheese steaks with mushrooms and peppers. It was ready within 15 mins. They were simply delicious. Not quite the size as the authentic Phillies from Philadelphia, but they were really good. The prices are very affordable. Small inside with a few the tables as well as tables outside. We will be back. Would definitely recommend if you want delicious fresh cheesesteaks.“

“I tried Mo's pizza for the first time last week and I must say the food is very good that's why I had to try it again. The service is good and easy going. Food is prepared very fast. The prices are very fair and affordable as well. The only thing I could complain about is their wings. Albeit it is a pizza restaurant which I typically stray away from any restaurant that sells wings if that's not their specialty especially being in Atlanta. The wings were decent the first time the second time I did not like. A little frugal with the sauce lol and they are good but they just aren't the greatest. “As you can imagine, I was in the mood for trying a new restaurant and stumbled across Manny’s via my Yelp Search. Manny sits in a neighborhood so there is street parking as well as they offer a few parking spaces in the back of the restaurant. When you walk up, you are pulled in by the intimacy of the “neighborhood bar” feel you can see through the all glass front. The location is huge and offers a main and sun main entrance door. Entering through the main entrance, you get to experience a full snapshot of the vibe. With tables in the front and the bar towards the back right, you are instantly caught up in the energy that radiates from the patrons. We decided to sit in the small area near the sub main entrance as it offered a more eat and unwind tone. As you seat yourself, it was a few minutes before the waitress arrived at our table. Once she arrived she greeted the table and welcomed us to Manny’s. She immediately took our drink orders and advised she would return shortly. As we awaited her return, I looked around the room to see if there were any menus and there were not. When the waitress arrived with our drinks she inquired if we were ready to order… Me: “Can you provide us with the menu as we may take a look?” Waitress: “It’s a QR Code!” Me: “Can we get the QR Code?” Upon me asking for the QR code she realized we didn’t have one in our table. She proceeded to one of the back tables and returned with the QR Code. I decided on the Candy Andy burger with a Side Caesar Salad. My meal was an absolute delight. The lettuce was fresh. The Caesar dressing was very tasty and super creamy. I wouldn’t be surprised if I found out it was homemade as it was truly a flavor-rific experience. LoL!! The Burger was soooooooo good. With a “Smash Burger” base, the Candy Andy is a perfect play of Sweet and Salty. The well seasoned, perfectly done, super moist burger pairs perfectly with the caramelized onions that sit on top of it and becomes engaged to the candied bacon that tops the burger. Oh my goodness! I don’t know what foodie ninja came up with this killer mix of burger joy, however, they did an amazing job. This burger is an absolute 10 out of 10 for me and is so good that I will be back to indulge in one again soon. If you find yourself in the area and desire a neighborhood gem with a nice vibe and great food, make sure to stop by Manny’s and enjoy the experience. P. S. “Wow. Ate here yesterday afternoon (it was slammed btw) and was BLOWN AWAY! I kind of ate here by accident I planned on getting Oxtails next door but had my daughter with me and the menu here made more sense. Man did I get lucky. The young lady at the register insisted I get the Chopped Cheese and it was my best decision of 2024. I felt like I was on the street in Brooklyn!! Wow!! Perfect amount of spice, cheese and meat. “Decided to order dinner with Uber eats tonight. We ordered a bacon burger, bacon cheese burger and 2 orders of fries.The person picking up our food got there pretty fast and before we knew it, he was on the way to us. When he dropped off our food, the brown paper bags were full of grease spots on the bags but the food was great. The burgers were a little messy but the taste was on point. The bag had a small paper cup filled with fries but it was like they added an extra scoop of fries to the bag, so I feel like there were plenty of fries per order. The fries tasted really good but were not overly crispy.The only thing that I wish is that the burgers weren't so greasy but I think the burgers are always like that. If you go to Five Guys, you know what to expect.We enjoyed the food and will probably order again. I will make sure we have extra napkins on hand ?“

The queue moves quickly, and the folks taking orders greet you with the classic “what’ll ya have?”The food is somewhat overpriced now, but $12 fetches you two dogs, fries and a drink. The casing on the hotdogs isn’t snappy but the chili is good and plentiful. The fries were an affront to the senses, limp and lacking in flavor or salt. “I came here for lunch today. And boy I tell u it's a good spot to eat . I know it's just a burger joint but these burgers taste different and the fries. They use peanut oil but everything was great . The only problem I have is the price. They are pretty high but it's worth it vs the other fast food burger places. So yes I would love to come back. We loaded up 2 polishes, 2 Italian beefs, gyro and pizza puffs. A hidden gem with good food and excellent customer service! It was a nice drive for me but worth it.“
