My husband and I were pleasantly surprised when we found this spot. A young new vibe offering tasty and fresh food. The ceviche was yummy with a very low kick of heat; just right. My husband devoured the pork carnitas, came with lots of rice and beans. The pickled onions were a nice addition. I kept it classic with the chicken enchiladas. Perfect for me, just enough sauce and cheese. The tres leches cake topped with strawberries and cinnamon was just firm enough and fresh. Park in the visitor parking garage and they will validate the ticket.

Not opened on Saturday for lunch. Despite the times on Google and the front door saying open at 12pm.

Stopped in for an impromptu brunch this afternoon and was pleasantly surprised. For a party of two, we ordered a decent amount of food. We started with queso blanco con chorizo, which was quite honestly the best we’d ever had and we are pretty faithful choriqueso orderers. After euphorically inhaling our order of queso and chips, we ordered our mains (pan seared fish tacos, a breakfast “bill-rito” con chorizo, papas con chorizo, plus a hot chocolate and iced horchata latte) and after a short wait our food arrived. The portions were pretty sizable and everything was great. The herbs and vegetables were fresh, the potatoes and fish well seasoned. The atmosphere was relaxing, beautifully decorated, a pleasant ambiance with a shaded patio overlooking a serene water fountain. Most importantly, in my opinion, each and everyone at this establishment was so kind, attentive, and professional. We left with a couple of fist bumps, some hugs, and full bellies. Well done!

Catherine and her staff did such an amazing job hosting our wedding welcome dinner. We could not have asked for a better experience and place to welcome our family and friends. Food is always fresh, margs are tasty and service is impeccable.

Lovely spot in an unexpected place. The food is not just great but even better because of what you expect it to be in this location and actually how fantastic it is. Tucked away in the courtyard of an apartment building, this is one of the best Tex-mex places in town. Don’t sleep on La Chiquiada - or do and leave more for me.

Tried to go here tonight with my family, wanted to sit on the patio, but was told we needed reservations ( nothing on the website indicated they were needed or taken). Felt like we were not wanted in the restaurant at all so we left. Its unfortunate because the menu sounded good, but we will not go to a restaurant where we don't feel welcome.

I love Latin food!
I ordered the chicken enchilada dinner and there was very l little to no meat throughout the enchilada. I had to order a tacos on the side because I was not satisfied with the smaller meat portion. The atmosphere is the best! Great staff

This is one of our favorite Decatur spots and definitely a hidden gem. Their cocktails really shine here and are quite reasonably priced for the area! Our favorite menu items are the happy hour nachos or taquitos (along with the salsa of course 🔥) overall we just love the ambience here, their playlist is always a vibe, and patio fun and dog friendly!

Best Mexican restaurant in Decatur! I’ve had a few spots but one key indicator of an outstanding Mex restaurant is the chips and guacamole, and they did not disappoint!

This is legit. Abuelita has to be beaming. While the ambience screams modern Decatur, and the scents of “Rosa” permeate throughout, the food is straight out of upscale Mexico City. This is not your standard fare. It’s delicious yet not heavy on your stomach afterwards. The cheese dip was incredible - different and I don’t know why - but wanted to order more if I wasn’t gonna get judged by my seat mate. While it’s not exactly super easy to find, use Google Maps and find a way to get there
