I have to agree with other reviewers that the food wasn't good but the servers were great. The green salsa was served hot and was watery and bland. The horchata latte was extremely sweet and made with drip coffee. The benches have nails sticking out of them too which is off putting and potentially dangerous.

Food is ok, not bad: I'm not Hispanic but tried authentic Hispanic foods; this food is quite american-washed. lots of veg/vegan options, but found a hair in my food. They refunded half, however.

La Chiquiada is such a cute, yummy restaurant! The owner is a sweetheart who genuinely cares about her customers and staff, and the food is incredible! Highly recommend trying out this new restaurant in downtown

We went here for brunch and enjoyed it! The food flavors were very good - we got the chilaquiles with carnitas and the carnitas tostada. My only bit of feedback on the food was that the temperature was off. Both dishes were definitely colder than we would’ve preferred. That being said, we cleaned our plates but the food was delicious. The service was excellent, food came out quickly. Not crowded at all. It was cold in general in the building so that is my only other bit of feedback about the atmosphere- not sure if they can control the heat bc it’s in a large commercial type building with high ceilings, but I was very chilly inside! May have been why the food was cold. But overall it was a good experience and we will be back! Prices were very reasonable too.

We had an amazing Sunday brunch experience this past weekend! Super cute and friendly atmosphere with great coffee and service. Our kids loved the homemade cinnamon rolls and biscuits. Love that the menu is very reasonably priced with a variety of options and plate sizes. The patio was the perfect location for our kids. The owner was very inviting and accommodating. Will definitely be back to enjoy more of the menu and support a local business!

Absolutely delicious Mexican fare without the heaviness you get from the order by number restaurants. Terrific bartender and tasty cocktails as well. We will be back.*** we did go back, for breakfast and it was yummy. ?? I was a little suspicious of biscuits at a Mexican place but these were quite tasty. They have a tasty jam that looks like strawberry but that has a very unique flavor I meant to ask what it was. We are adding it as one of our regular breakfast spots.
